Contemporary

We are staying at the Contemporary during the first week of Sept.
Someone told me that it is old and dirty. Is this true???

We stayed in the Tower in May 2001 and we didn't think it was dirty. In fact, we loved our stay there very much. You can't beat the size of the rooms. 2 queen beds and a day bed.

I'll be there too! well, I'll be there that weekend.....like the 6th and 7th I think haha I hung around there with my friend last september and I LOVED it and that's why I'm going back I found it to be very vibrant and interesting. Nada on the old and dirty haha

I stayed there over New Year's, and it seemed pretty clean to me!

We were there just a couple of weeks ago. We were in the North garden wing which is suppose to be the oldest (as is longest since redone) and everything was clean and in good repair. The only complaint is the decor just seems outdated.

Well, depends on what you term "old". Afterall, it is one of the original WDW resorts. In that case, it is 31 years old! Still younger than me, so of course it isn't old!---lol However, does it look old and dirty...NO! The rooms have all been refurbished in bright cheery colors, and they are HUGE, they have the best bathrooms of any resort on property, the grounds are well maintained, and spotless, and the interior is clean, bright and high energy.

It is my favorite resort, thus far!

It's certainly not dirty. I saw the guy who had to polish the tops of all the half-walls that run the length of the building. Everywhere we went people were cleaning!

We were there in February 2002 and did not find it to be dirty at all. This was our second stay at this resort, the last time being 1997 and the rooms have been updated somewhat. We stayed in the wing and found the rooms to be very large and accomodating. The restaurants are great and it is wonderful to be able to walk to and from the MK!
