You can enjoy a relaxing boat ride from the Contemporary to WL.

Agree on the boat ride - nice and relaxing. Just allow yourself enough time if you have to be there for an ADR since you may have to wait a while at the Contemporary dock.

An alternative is to walk to the MK and catch the WL boat from there.

Agree that the boat ride is 10-15 minutes but plan on waiting at least that long for the boat to actually come. There's lots to see at WL so don't worry if you get there too early.

6:45. You probably want to be there for the 1st boat; it may go to FtW before CR.
