Contemporary to Boardwalk?

I’ve got a 615 pm September reservation for the Wave, and we are staying at the Boardwalk.

How do we get back after dinner? ECV and toddler so I don’t think Lyft and Uber are options. Parks closing at 7 pm at the latest. Help! Do I need to change this reservation?

Disney bus: Contemporary to Disney Springs, Disney Springs to Boardwalk? I would think that would take a really long time.

When parks are closed, only way using "free" transportation is a bus to Disney Springs and then bus to resort. Disney Springs is open til 10 pm and buses should run approximately an hour after closing.

You should be able to make it...barely. Have a back up plan for an Uber just in case.

I wouldn't. It delivers some really wacky routes at times.

Instead, normally, I'd suggest the Transportation forum - but the responses here are already accurate.

If it were me, I’d Uber or taxi, but use the Uber X for a large vehicle for your ECV. We used it once to transport all our luggage as well as a wheelchair for my youngest from Pop to AKL. I’m not very familiar with ECV’s, but think maybe the driver can help put it in the back of a large SUV?

Maybe consider doing lunch instead. The Wave is good, but not worth a possible transportation headache.

Yes MK buses will be running until at least 1 hr after park closing and since in Sept. MK will be closing at 6 PM.

If the buses run an hour after close you may be able to walk over to MK and catch a bus to Boardwalk. Let you server know that you need to catch the bus at MK and you need to be out of the restaurant in time to walk over to the bus loop. Your reservation is 5:15 you should be able to out of the restaurant by 6:15-6:30 plenty of time to walk over to the bus.

I probably would skip The Wave this trip or move the time closer to 5:00 just to give you a little wiggle room.

I dropped it. I WANT to eat there, but I have got a lot of slow people and I don’t want to have to rush it. Plus leaving the park at lunch is a pain if we are just going to go back.

I booked Homecomin for 4 - we can go to DS, or can just cancel it.

uber X is for uber’s smallest vehicles. Uber XL vehicles are larger.

Can you take a bus from Contemporary to Hollywood and walk or boat from there? Hollywood will be open until 8 through Sept 7 and until 7 after that. But I'm not sure when the last bus leaves resorts for a park.

Driver could, but they can also decline/refuse/be unable to lift even part of the weight.

Mears has some accessible taxi-vans, with ramps that deploy from the back and I think have top-down for one mobility device. Ask Bell Services for help.

I agree that walking to MK and catching a bus from there to Boardwalk would work best, but will security allow people to walk from Contemporary to MK after MK closing time?
