Contemporary Resort Question

Pretty sure you can't....

Each time DVC has added a "Villas" section to an existing resort, the ability to stay at the original resort using points was revoked.

I don't believe you can use points at Boardwalk Inn, Beach Club, Wilderness Lodge, "or" the Contempoary....

No...now that the Contemporary has DCV villas, regular rooms are removed from the Disney Collection.

The same thing will happen once the Grand Floridan villas are done--you won't be able to stay in regular rooms there...

Can you use DVC points at the Contemporary Resort?

As the others have posted, no - not at the Contemporary Resort. But you may use them to stay at Bay Lake Tower (BLT), the DVC wing of the CR.

Thank you. That's what I was thinking but I wasn't sure. When will the Grand Floridian villas be complete? Also, where can I find 2013 point charts for Grand Floridian and Polynesian Resorts?

No date has been announced for the completion of the Grand Floridian Villas.

The point charts for the non-DVC WDW resorts are on the members' website. Since you do not have access to that,l here is a link:

2013 Point Chart for non-DVC WDW Resorts

You will see that it is much more expensive to stay at a non-DVC resort than it is to stay at a DVC resort. You will find it more expensive to rent points for those than to book directly for cash by calling Disney reservations, especially if you can get a discount.
