contemporary pizza in room ?

is there a place you can have pizza delivered to you room like every other resort, or not since the califoria grill is there ?

my kids want pizza one nite late in the room ?

help please any first hand info thanks cmatt

We stayed at the Contemporary in May and room service delivered pizza twice.

We ordered a room service pizza at CR last January and it wasn't very good.

We didn't have it delivered, just bought it at the food court. We didn't think it was very good at all. They don't use a pizza oven.

Friends also agree, pizza, in general, most anywhere in WDW is not very good.

That's very disappointing. We ordered room service pizza at the CR 10 years ago and thought it was bad then. Kimberle's correct: it isn't oven cooked pizza dough - it's more like bread with cheese and sauce poored over it.

I would have hoped that they'd improved things in 10 years.

Room service is VERY expensive (like 4x as much)- walk down to the snack bar and pick up the pizza there to take back to the room (they have trays available)

We were just at the CR last week. (had a wonderful time by the way) One night we did order pizza that was delivered to the front desk where we picked it up. Both Domino's and Papa John's will deliver to the front desk & it was much cheaper and better tasting than if we had ordered it through room service.
