I don't know if this has been already been on this board or not, so forgive me if it has.

My cousin went to one of those focus group meetings where you give your opinion and then you leave with some cash. She was at one recently and come to find out it was a focus group about deciding the name for the new vacation club property at the Contemporary.

Her choices were:

1.)Club 9 (because it's the 9th vacation club)
2.)Villas at Contemporary
3.)Crescent Bay Resort (I guess it's shaped like a crescent)

She said that the plans looked very modern and contemporary, very similar to the updated rooms at the hotel. She said that it didn't seem, to her anyways, very kid friendly.

Maybe that will be good for the business traveler/convention traveler.

From what I've seen, I would agree with your friend's assessment of the resort -- doesn't seem too kid-friendly. Kind of industrial, IMHO. (See pictures below; most have probably seen these already, but I'll post them in case anyone missed them.)

But I hope they are not gearing this resort to the business/convention traveller -- I don't think many of them stay at timeshares, do they?
