Contempo Cafe at CR now open for business - Menu, Pix, and more

Well the only noise you would get is from Chef Mickey's if you we were eating there during breakfast and dinner hours. So if you went during the afternoon and etc there won't be any noise. Besides that the arcade is on the other side of the 4th floor inside the old Fantasia store and is sound proof because of the doors which lead into it. Finally the Outer Rim Lounge is going to be re-built where they use to have the Tempo Grab & Go, however not sure when that construction will start.

The concourse was always busy and loud most of the time, even during the day. It is actually one of the things that we liked - the hustle and bustle. I am curious to see how the changes and additions will make it seem now. I am anxious to try the Contempo.

It depends on what you like to eat. When you don't like salad dressing, mayo, mustard, wine sauce, or multigrain bread, you can see where it might be a problem. I'd rather have a sub sandwich (with no condiments) or some chicken strips and fries. About the only thing I see for dinner is the pasta marinara (and it depends on the sauce whether that would work), lunch is out, which leaves breakfast - and I typically breakfast in the room. Considering I would even make a special trip to eat there if I was staying at one of the other nearby resorts, this new menu is a big disappointment to me. I guess it will just leave more room for the rest of you . . . .

I heard you can order the salad dressing on the side or not at all if that will help, maybe you can do the same for the other condiments

Well I agree that there will always be people there during the day when Chef Mickey's is closed, I don't think it would be as busy during the evening.

I'm so glad this is open and running before Thanksgiving week!

The menu looks like a nice change of pace but still has some staple foods if you take the "fancy" names away. I'm hoping for chicken nuggets as an option for the kiddos but if not he will have to settle for a turkey sandwich or I will walk out to the pool and order him nuggets.

The video that was linked earlier, you could hear the saws and banging sounds over the sounds of the guests. I hope that the Out Rim's new home is built soon.
