Hey all,

I'm an escape bride, but I'd like to try to set up a dessert party at Illuminations, and a brunch at the Attic. Does anyone have the specific phone numbers or e-mail addresses to where I can contact people to begin this? You would think that there would be a department I could call at the Boardwalk, and one at Epcot, but I can't find any contact information anywhere! :confused3

I just got my wedding planner, but I know that you all will respond quicker than her most likely!

Thanks! :goodvibes

Your wedding coordinator should be able to do this for you. Ours booked both our dinner at Jiko and our DP at Morocco.
I didn't have to do any of the footwork!

If I'm remembering correctly, neither can be booked until like 6 months or 8 months before or something. I distinctly remember around Nov before our May wedding being all anxious about getting what we wanted! :rotfl:

So, if I were you, as soon as you know you definitely want something, let your WC know (we had Tanis). Call and leave a message and follow up with an e-mail...
Even when I booked the MK shoot, I knew like a year out and I think back then you could book SBP at 12 months, so I only had a sales person back then (Doreen) and she booked the MK shoot for me....

HTH! :goodvibes

Thanks for the reply.

A few hours ago, I actually called Disney and they also said that I have to go through my wedding planner.

I just get worried because I've read in one or two circumstances that an escape bride has some issues trying to plan events that are usaully catered to 'wishes' brides.

I'll wait to see what the wedding planner says. With 5 months from the wedding i'm just super excited to get everything going.

There have been issues at times I know...

Have you let your planner (I keep calling them coordinators!) know what you want? If not, I suggest doing so ASAP as many of the places can be booked 6 months out and being that you're already at 5 months..times a'wasting! :goodvibes

Those issues seem to be in the past. Disney has become a lot more amenable to setting up private events for Escape couples since the economy took a nosedive. :thumbsup2 There are just certain restrictions, like a 2-hour limit on private receptions for Escape couples. Your planer can fill you in.
