If you are planning to stay at Fantasyworld 2 within the foreseeable future, you better like construction noise, including compressors outside your bedroom at 7AM, construction dirt coating your car and the pool area, construction workers overlooking the pool all day and evening, including Sundays! We stayed there in the beginning of February and were very disappointed. They are adding a third building and we were not forewarned or we would not have stayed there. We are used to staying onsite or at the Marriott Grand Vista so this was a terrible Interval trade in more ways than just that, but the construction was terrible!

Yes, that's the place. The original Fantasyworld One is next door. FW One has 2-story townhouses, with the bedrooms upstairs. They are bigger than the high rise FantasyworldII which is one floor, a lot more cramped, and without washer and dryers. We stayed in FW One 20 years ago and liked it, but I don't know about the remodeling two decades later.

Now that I think about it, some of the FW One units back up to the pool area and construction of Fantasyworld II, so ask to be away from there if you stay there. I have to admit the location is good on the corner of 535 and 192, near the new WalMart and Super Target, as well as Old Town, but was not what we expected to get through an Interval Marriott trade. If you want a full kitchen, small living area/dining area and big master room with a lock off second bedroom, but don't plan to spend much time there, then it's OK.

How much construction is going on on 192? Last year at this time the east bound lanes in that area were all torn up so that it was hard to get in and out of places on the South side of 192. Don't tell me they still have it all torn up there?

Yes, 192 near the Super Target, Shell World, etc, still has construction. It does look so much better though, nice tall palms, better curbbing...

We leave tomorrow, staying at Fantasy World Villas.
Not much I can do about it now. just hope for the best.
As long as the weather holds out.

Don't worry Poohbeck, if you're in FWII, just ask for the first set of units nearest the entrance and you probably won't hear as much noise as we did. If you're in FWI, then just ask not to be near the construction-most units are away from it.If you'll be doing the parks all day, by evening, the pool should be more private. You'll like the location for other things. Have fun!
