That's the best smiley I ever saw!

I've been meaning to ask you- is that you on the far right in that picture in your signature?

Yup, that's me with the camo. I look awful after a day in the parks, but the picture's still pretty good.

Okay, I'm off to bed. I'm looking forward to having dreams of Obama's adorable wittle face to keep me company. :cutie:

Okay, now I'm starting to scare myself. :rotfl: I better get that DS working.

Nah, it's a good picture!! Now me.... I am far from photogenic even on my best days.

Ok dear.... now I'm freaking out a bit. Go to sleep.... clear your head. Wake up refreshed tomorrow.:thumbsup2

thanks! it's my pleasure to

for you.
:scared1: Not a puking smiley!! Just the mere thought of puke makes my tummy flip-flop!

Just playing with ya...:rotfl: I could use a nice barfing smiley for some of the posts I've seen.

I love that! Actually, that "retro" sign brings back so many memories...sigh. :cloud9:

emanuel, strike one!
daschle, strike two!
panetta, strike three!

yyyyyyooooouuuuurrrrreeeee OUT!!!!!!!!!

Now pinch hitting for Bill Richardson at Commerce..... Former Time Warner Chairman and CEO, Richard Parsons. Parsons looks a little lost out there. Is he up to the task? He's running to third.....uh....he doesn't know he supposed to hit the ball first.....and then tag first and second base before going to third? He'sssssssss Out!!

On deck...CNN Journalist, Gupta, as Surgeon General. Gupta hits one up the middle....oh no....he stops for the camera and is out at first base.

:rotfl: You all are on Fire, tonight!!!

Hi all. Hope all's well with everyone.

My mom has her first surgery tomorrow, which is the biopsy of the 2nd area that they couldn't get in the Dr.'s office. She'll be knocked out for it (it'll be done in the hospital). It's not supposed to take long, but I'm a nervous wreck and really agitated right now. Prayers for her are still appreciated, as are prayers for me. As it is now they think she needs around 5 weeks of radiation, but no chemo. I pray that that stays that way. I've only been more scared than this once in my life, and that was when my grandfather had a massive stroke. Stressful time.

I'm not posting much, but still reading. Please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers, tonight and tomorrow especially.
I will be praying and thinking of you and your mom. Please keep us updated.

Yeah yeah, I'm out for the evening and you guys are on a roll being funny. Now I'm home...and you're asleep...

Sad to hear about the Jagermeister.....although my wife (who is German) thinks it is hilarious that Jager is so highly regarded in the States. Back in Bavaria, it is effectively mouth-wash........

I just smile and tell her that my breath smells MARVELOUS!!!

I am soooo with your wife on that one. Jager is nasty!

Can I say this? I love that picture you have with the hands making the peace sign.... too cool.:hippie:

Me too. That's a really great picture.

If I don't get well soon.......I may have to go on an I.V.!!

Might not be a bad thing.;)

:scared: (where's that pukey smiley?)

I couldn't find a Captain Morgan's IV, or I would have made an alternate suggestion. :)

Just as I'm headed to bed I get some company.... y'all's timing is awful! :lmao:

Wonderlanne posted the puking smiley. Here it is-

Yeah figures. :sad2: See ya! It's probably a good thing. I should really get some sleep for a change. I sat down at the desk to pay some bills and found myself here instead. :rolleyes1

I'm not really tired, but I need the sleep.... but I'm still :surfweb: .

I am beyond addicted to this laptop. If I had to use that crappy desktop we have, I'd never be on this late.:rotfl:

Haha...maybe I could blame it on the laptop too. I didn't find this board until after I got the laptop. I think I can see the outlines of a connection there...

Hmmm.... yup, I see a connection too because that's also how I found the boards.:rotfl:

Ok, for real.... going to bed. I was going to go to bed at midnight after Glenn's radio show ended and look, I'm still here- that was two and a half hours ago!:rotfl:

hrmm...DH just sent me the email about the military special Disney is offering this year to all active duty military....apparently he wants to try and figure out a way to go.

If we do figure out a way to swing it...I'm gonna be calling on ALL of your help to plan it. I haven't been there in 15 years:scared1: and last time I was there I was with my mouseketeer friend, so I did things most people don't get to do. I've never stayed on property either but we'd likely do POP since it is most affordable. DH and I aren't big on paying for hotel rooms when we only plan to sleep there.

Soarin' how long are you there??

I love helping plan!

Wasn't there also a 40% off for military that was being offered for the rooms??

We might, too. National Guard and Reservist are eligible as long as they've been activated during the specified dates. My dh has been activated for drills and training many times, probably will a few times this year, too. This deal is really too good to pass up. 40% off room rates plus the free ticket and $99 additional tickets??? It's too good to be true. We had no plans of going this year but this is just amazing. Now, I just have to convince dh it's too good to pass up. He's a tough nut to crack but I know I can do it. ;)

DH spent most of last year activated (10 months) and if they'd ever get off their collective butts and do the paperwork he might get to be permanently activated if this spot is awarded to him.

I'm not sure how we'd swing it for 6 of us, so it could end up just being an adults only trip, or just us and Jacob. Who knows.
