Well for once the gun wasn't aimed at me. I really just don't get political junkies out to get one another. Without each other the debate gets rather boring, and I never belonged to the choir anyway.

No, but sometimes if you're in a heated exchange with someone, you might assume it was them. Of course there is the possibility that a mod is monitoring the thread and intervenes, or it could be "a friend" looking out for a fellow poster. Many months ago LOG and I were going at it and I got points. I PMed him asking if he'd tattled, and he said that he'd gotten points too.

I'm just curious what discussion would have led to that. I usually enjoy your posts LOG...even if I disagree with them, you have just the right amount of sanity and snarkiness all rolled into one. I don't know that I've ever seen you just be outright rude to anyone though.

Okay, about Ann Coulter.

Sorry guys (and gals), I just don't like her. I can read her books, but her voice grates on my nerves. Plus, I don't like how she flips her hair around when she's trying to make a point. She doesn't seem sincere.

Can I still be in the club? I really like Bobby Jindal and SP, even though she hates animals.

Not a problem. For instance, I do not like Mike Huckabee. I just don't, but that is more a personal thing than anything ideological.

The DIS is making me sad today. Some of the things I've read just make me wonder about the direction this country is taking. I know there are folks here that are not believers, so I will try not to get too "preachy" but the utter disregard for right and wrong and for morality in general out there is very upsetting. Here's some things I've learned today:

Being a virgin when you marry is something to laugh over and ridicule.

Parents who limit the entertainment content that comes into their children's lives are "nuts"

Children who are subject to restrictions will "go wild" when released from their parent's control

Terrorists who hide behind women and children are right and good, a country that defends it's citizens against random attacks is evil.

Have I missed anything???

I'm sure there are a few additions we could make, but it is a good start. I am happy they post with such anger and bitterness. We compare very favorably (cuz we're still smiling!).



Do not let it upset you. If anything, just be glad that your mind has not been "narrowed" to an inch deep and a mile wide.


Just look at the tragic comedy that will be this incoming administration and Congress and stock up on popcorn...... it will be like one long, sordid soap opera starring a bunch of funny looking people.

The first episode is absolutely lunatic! I miss Bill Richardson already......pay to play strikes yet again.

Please release 1 ea E-ride ticket for Bill Richardson for the "Under the Obama bus" attraction. Hope he says hi to Blagejovich & Burris......

It's kind of like the whole 'choice' thing...they don't care about the unborn woman's choice. Or the father's choice...maybe he wants to raise the child. Or the choice of the unwed mother to birth and care for the child (Bristol Palin, anyone?). They only want 'choice' if it involves killing an unborn child.

That's because they lump all Pro-Life people as Christians and we all know what they think of Christians! All religions EXCEPT Christianity are to be defended, Christianity, it's beliefs and especially it's followers are subjects of ridicule.
