I have no doubt some clown at NBC said just that to Drudge, but for what it's worth, NBC has denied the story and says Coulter is not banned. She should send them some flowers. They've just rocketed her new book (coming out tomorrow) to number 1 faster than her books usually get there. She's getting far more publicity from this than she would have from this morning's canceled chit-chat with one of those Today Show talking heads.

I'm glad to hear that NBC may not follow through on this threat. This country is supposed to be based upon freedom of speech yet the left has continuously shown that they want to suppress that speech if it doesn't fall in line with their values and views and they've also (crazily) shown that they want Big Brother knowing everything about us and handling every detail of our lives.

Isn't it so very nice of the MSM to tell us what we do and don't want to watch? Maybe I (and some 46 million other people in this country, if you know what I mean) want to hear about Ann's new book.

They're just preparing us for when this country is run by a dictator. That's all. You're not supposed to notice this preparation - you're just supposed to take it all in stride so when we do have that dictator leading us, it will seem normal and we won't contest it.

Yes, yes, yes. I can't promise all 1500 but I did begin writing my trip report at work today. I still have to upload the pictures into photobucket so they can be posted. So far only my cake is in my photobucket account. I quickly got that one in there for you breezy. I know that you like cake.

Holy carp! I took 360 and I thought THAT was a lot!

I know! I was thinking more like 500 ... then I just saw the count and was like I did have to buy another memory card while there. I went through four memory cards plus I have some photopass pictures.

Okay, so my kids are constantly on the Wii and today I told them that "I" was going to use it darn it.

None of them want to use it now and I'm bored. It would at least be a little fun if they were begging me to get off it so they could use it. But no, they found something else to do.

Oh well. I think I'll send them to bed then. Gotta earn my mean points somehow...

Every time I hear someone say "breath of fresh air" and "Rachel Maddow" at the same time, I just laugh. She's perpetually angry, never smiles unless she's saying something really vicious, simply repeats democrat talking points by rote, offering nothing fresh or, God forbid, contrary to the standard leftist rant. Give me a controversial topic, and I could literally tell you exactly what Rachel Maddow will say about it before she ever opens her rigidly frowning mouth. Only in the far-left la-la land of the American media could an angry democrat party hack be called "a breath of fresh air."

You are so right! She never smiles unless she's being sarcastic. She is just like all the other pundits out there (both lib and con), and yet I hear her mentioned everywhere as bringing brains into the picture. I don't know. It just shows how bias the media is.

Off topic from politics, you guys, but I'm trying to upload all of the pictures that I took at Disney into Shutterfly. I discovered that I have 1,531 pic’s.

Holy cow!!! That was just you? I mean, I took a mission trip to Ukraine where we had 3000 pictures, but that was combined from about a dozen girls. Putting them onto a CD-ROM for each of us was a test of patience. I'm glad you had such a good time!

Awww thanks!! Nice to see my man again..... I've missed him. Oh, I caught him on the radio this afternoon on a station out of Denver via the Internet. is all I gotta say.

That's how I felt about Rush today! Reunited and it felt so good [unbeknownst to him, Von Barotech's comments about Rush 24/7 encouraged me to renew my subscription].

I just liked that he was a "closet Republican." Like it was something to be ashamed about?

When I first saw this on Drudge, I thought Ann was banned because she was saying that NBC was biased, but no. You have to read their reason for banning her for life.

I'll comment anyway even though this has been debunked - another irony is that AC got her start on MSNBC when it first started and actually was responsible for its initial good ratings. [I think she got booted later because of her love for controversy].

I wish I could shell out the $54.95 necessary to become a GB Insider (that's a year's subscription), but for me, it's either car payment or something I would like to have for myself.... and I gotta choose the car payment. *sigh* Someday....

Wow, one of the LA Times' national correspondents, Andrew Malcolm, is bewildered by the selection of Panetta as the head of the CIA, but he thinks he knows the reason for this selection:

Unless 'Leon Panetta' is code name for George Smiley or someone else with secret qualifications in the crucial, clandestine world of intelligence, president-elect Barack Obama has made his first or second inexplicable pick of advisors.

Coming up on his Jan. 20 inauguration after weeks of pondering, Obama's decided to appoint the ex-California congressman to run the Central Intelligence Agency.

The 61-year-old Panetta's main apparent qualification for Obama is his resume from the Clinton administration, as White House chief of staff and director of the Office of Management and Budget. And Panetta's been loyally helping the ex-Illinois senator with the transition to power. So they've got to put him somewhere.

He also notes that Senator DiFi's initial reaction is to go thumbs down on the pick. She says "My position has consistently been, that I believe the Agency is best-served by having an intelligence professional in charge at this time." Jay Rockefeller is also not too thrilled. It appears that Team-O also committed a Transition 101 mistake by not telling key Congressional leaders about Panetta's selection and they instead learned of it by reading it in the NY Times... Oooops.

I'm not getting too many warm fuzzies about national security being a top priority on Obama's part.

Yeah, my mom has mentioned before how she used to like Rush back in the early 90s (I was a wee little thing then ). Actually, my English Composition I teacher really got me into listening to Glenn last January when I started in her class.... so to my English teacher I give full credit for my for Glenn (partially to my mom too, but not as much).

Hope is a bad word, remember? We have GOT to think of a synonym for it.....
