I think I'm going to buy that. I have a Books-A-Million discount card so I'd get quite a bit off of it.... Glenn Beck is one of my heroes.:goodvibes

Well you have to buy it now.....It's in you signature!

:rotfl:

It really is great and is a touching, heart warming story.

Hello, my favorite GOP peeps! I am laptopping from our room at Pop Century 50's section and I wish that ALL of you were here. It RAINED LIKE CRAZY while we were enroute on our Magical Express bus and then it got very chilly. Not complaining though cuz it was snowing at home when we left. Tomorrow, we are hitting the Magic Kingdom and we are determined to make it in time for the "Good morning...Good morning" song on the train at opening. Then we will hit Main Street Bakery for the traditional yogurt, fruit, granola thingy.

Life is awesome! :woohoo:

I think I saw that Barnes & Noble has it 30% off even for non-members. I was disappointed because I never go there, but did yesterday shopping for Christmas. I only got 20% off at BAM. DB got a hardback copy of the 1950-1952 Charlie Brown comic strips. They had 8 different time ranges, but that was the first. I cut back this year, so he only got it. Maybe, he'll get them all over time from me. He loves comics and especially loved CB. I hope he likes it.

That's what I want to be doing right now!!!!!!! Oh, well, 23 DAYS!!!:woohoo:

There will come a day when all of us GOP peeps are there at the same time.... :goodvibes

Killer Angels is one of my all time favorite books, and Gettysburg I loved as a movie. Had my great great grandpa not made it back, I wouldn't be here! He was with the Michigan regiment. I also loved the fact I knew the book so well that the first time I watched the movie I was filling in the "thoughts" to DH. Gods and Generals I didn't feel that way about. It was ok, but didn't touch me the way the first did.

DH says,"nothing wrong hunting with an AK-47" then he quickly walked out. LOL

No pink on my firearms, thankyouverymuch.. and I like pink!

Baseball? What is this thing you call baseball? *running*

Too funny about being pm'd to hit our page. Truly pathetic that they feel the need to do it at all!

Those Christmas ornaments, I mean festivus ornaments really scare me. Please take them away!

Before we left for hockey today it was snowing so hard I couldn't see across the street. Then it switched to sleet. It is finally snowing again, but I don't know if it will be enough for a snow day for DS tomorrow.

We got back Friday night-a day early. 3 of the 6 of us got a stomach bug, so we figured if the rest of us would get sick we may as well get sick at home.

I hope you have the same nice weather for the rest of your trip that we had.

We have ADR's for Whispering Canyon Tuesday and we are trying to save room for the skillet thingy that wreaks havoc on your tummy. Oh and the FIESTA MARGARITA at Mexico. :dance3:

I love that old Charlie Brown stuff - especially how large the characters' heads were....my uncle had a bunch of the old paperback CBs and somehow those books managed to find their way to my house...:confused3

And thanks for that GB clip - I  him, too -- but it must frustrate the tarnation out of any conservative media personality to be misquoted like that constantly!

I'm at the tail-end of making peanut butter cookies. As soon as they're done I have to run to Albertsons for milk and something to eat for dinner.

I'm currently watching National Geographic, and what's on is about a personal photo album taken at Auschwitz by one of the guards (Kurt Hoecker) that was anonymously donated to the USHMM in 2007. Interesting and sad.
WWII study is a passion of mine, especially the Holocaust as my maternal great-grandmother and grandmother had lost family in the camps.

There's snow on our forecast tomorrow and I'm thinking about calling myself a snow day! It's that wintry mix that's the curse of the South, doncha know!

And, Deb, I love your Santa hockey-player....was his mom the very first Hockeymom?!?!!?

Here's some milk for your cookies and I'll be right over!

And, wow Tink about your family -- you're right to know about it - too many people are wanting to forget history...

I hear you on the Holocaust. I'm descended from German Jews, and I'd love to know for sure if any of them were possibly in the camps. That event in history is the one that fascinates me the most, though it is so very sad.
