Is that why I can't find them? Uh oh...this could be bad.

Michelle - we have a candy store here in town - I think I remember seeing them there. I can send them to you if you'd like (if they are safe, of course). Better than a 30 mile drive. I can check tomorrow.

Aww! You're so sweet! :lovestruc But I honestly do drive over there often. My daughter and new grandson live about six blocks from the Tacoma Mall. Thank you so much for offering, though. I love this thread, everyone is just so sweet (for a bunch of evil conservative haters :lmao: ).

Well, if it doesn't work out, it really is no big deal for me to go down there - I could walk there, so it's not like you're putting me out at all. I promise.

I went shopping today, and I am 99.99% done with Christmas! :cool1: The only thing I have to find somewhere is the gelt (chocolate coverd coins). My kids will have a COW if they are not in the stockings. Sometimes backing yourself into a corner with a tradition is not such a good thing. I've ended up driving all over three counties (I live on the edge of three counties though...) searching for something that could NOT BE FORGOTTEN!!!

Wasn't there some kind of recall on them? They were made in China and had something in them. :confused3 I only partially remember something about this at Halloween.

Love the new Donald! Really cute.[/QUOTE]

I saw a bunch on the dollar aisle at Target today. Hope this helps!

Hi, everyone!

 I'm behind. What are we hating now??

SD, I'm praying for you and your family member.

Soarin, it's been a long long time since I had to take finals, but I do remember. I'll pray for you, too.

Christmas is a big, boisterous event at your place.
And no matter what, something hilarious usually happens.

Soarin', glad to see I'm not the only Dasher! :thumbsup2

Love the Santa Donald, SD. He's adorable! :lovestruc

Thanks, I'd appreciate that. :)
It seems the last time she checked in when I saw last night was Monday the 1st. :confused3

More bashing...

:sad2:

Charade, are you talking about us or the CB in general? 'Cause, don't forget - I'm not only evil, I'm really stoooopid too.

I voted on that poll - I'm all for it! How did egg nog do? Do we all still like it?

I know.... I'm just overflowing with evil and hatred for every living being in the entire universe!!:lmao:

Thanks for your prayers guys. I have my English Comp. II and Biology I finals tomorrow, Western Civ I on Wednesday, and Psychology on Thursday. And two weeks from tomorrow I'll be headed to my happy place so all's good....

They finally locked it down? Good. Several people were getting very very vicious on that thread.:sad2:

My brain still can't wrap itself around the fact that some of these posters who post their very vicious, hateful, anti-American, pro-terrorist comments can possibly be Disney lovers. It just doesn't compute. Oh wait, I know. They are the "arrive to the parade late, push to the front of the line, I paid good money to come here, be damned with the rest of you forethoughtful/planning/responsible" people. That makes more sense now.

I'd say so. :sad2:

You know, it can be quite fun to read those threads when you have just about everyone on ignore. :) Makes the thread go by really fast....

LOVE the Donald, SD! Love it!

The kids are out sledding with DH. I'm here all nice and warm. I love to go sledding, but I don't feel like going out tonight. We are supposed to get hit with a big storm tonight. I hope they cancel school tomorrow.

I had something important to say regarding this thread (probably about what someone posted), but I can't remember what I was going to say. Oh well. Let's just say that I agree with all of you. :)

DS is doing the ice happy dance. I think he'll still have school, but he's making the attempt at doing the proper dance.

So sorry Elmer...how rude of me. :rotfl:

DITTO! Prayers to medical tests and school tests. May everyone pass!

I'd love an eggnog with kahlua and vodka, s'il vous plait!

That's always how I've pictured them :rotfl2:

The latest about the BC --

Supreme Court won't review Obama's eligibility to serve
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court has turned down an emergency appeal from a New Jersey man who says President-elect Barack Obama is ineligible to be president because he was a British subject at birth.

The court did not comment on its order Monday rejecting the call by Leo Donofrio of East Brunswick, N.J., to intervene in the presidential election.

Donofrio says that since Obama had dual nationality at birth — his mother was American and his Kenyan father at the time was a British subject — he cannot possibly be a "natural born citizen," one of the requirements the Constitution lists for eligibility to be president.

Donofrio also contends that two other candidates, Republican John McCain and Socialist Workers candidate Roger Calero, also are not natural-born citizens and thus ineligible to be president.

At least one other appeal over Obama's citizenship remains at the court. Philip J. Berg of Lafayette Hill, Pa., argues that Obama was born in Kenya, not Hawaii as Obama says and Hawaii officials have confirmed.

Berg says Obama also may be a citizen of Indonesia, where he lived as a boy. Federal courts in Pennsylvania have dismissed Berg's lawsuit. Federal courts in Ohio and Washington state have rejected similar lawsuits.

Allegations raised on the Internet say the birth certificate, showing that Obama was born in Hawaii on Aug. 4, 1961, is a fake.

But Hawaii Health Department Director Dr. Chiyome ***ino and the state's registrar of vital statistics, Alvin Onaka, say they checked health department records and have determined there's no doubt Obama was born in Hawaii.

The nonpartisan website Factcheck.org examined the original document and said it does have a raised seal and the usual evidence of a genuine document.

In addition, Factcheck.org reproduced an announcement of Obama's birth, including his parents' address in Honolulu, that was published in the Honolulu Advertiser on Aug. 13, 1961.
