Anyways..... I'm so ready for my day off Wednesday. I'm getting to Epcot when they open and staying till they close.

did you guys hear they shut down disneyland for a while today? apparently there was a "suspicious powder" found at the ticket booths. turns out it was sand.

Wonder, how's your kitty? I know, with all that laundry you had to do, you might not have had time to spend with her...

she's hangin' in there, the sweet little nose. on friday she had her second radiation and chemo treatment. they changed the chemo drug and it has upset-tummy "outcome" if you get my drift. they didn't want to give that drug all at once, so i had to give her one dose today...you have to wear special gloves to handle the pill, 'cause it can be absorbed through the skin.

she's such a sweet little thing, and she's getting around okay and has a very good appetite. she even sat herself down near her favorite foil ball and batted it around for a while. she purrs all the time. i love her very much

i'm spending all the time i possibly can with her. my father lives near where i work, so i take her there on weekday mornings and get her set up in a comfy environment (my father removed all the furniture and put the guest room mattress right on the floor, then we covered the floor with blankets and bath rugs and made little forts and comfy spots for her, and she has a heated bed in there). this way i am with her in the morning, visit her during the lunch hour, and take her home with me at night.

thanks for asking. my world is all about caring for her right now, and she seems to be perfectly happy despite all the rigmarole.

When I first read your post though, I thought you were saying you lost 101 lbs in the last 4 weeks .... no wonder you're hungry!

I thought the same thing. I had to reread it.

sure you can! she loves company, so the more the merrier. my father checks on her and visits with her every half hour, but i'm sure she'd enjoy the variety.

i don't think i've built little forts using chairs and blankets since i was a little kid. it's exactly what this kitty loves. perhaps you'd have a different architectural style.

(my father's neighbors said they'd like to come back in their next life as one of our pets. )

Ha - I have the same issue...I'm allergic to cats and they LOVE me....like sit in my lap and make me pet them kind of love me. So, I sneeze and pet, pet and sneeze...

The only time I've ever had an allergic reaction to anything was during pregnancy. Otherwise, nada.

(my brother was dating some chick once, and they were talking about the future. my brother mentioned how pets complete a family and how he loved that his dog slept on his bed. this girl threw a fit, 'cause "dogs are dirty and have to sleep outside". my brother suggested that the dog would sleep inside and the girl outside. needless to say that was the end of that.)
