Just an aside but do you ever post on a thread where for some unknown reason, another poster will sort of single you out and pretty much nit pick and take apart everything you say? Ever wonder why the heck somebody does that? Oh well, I think what I said was brilliant!! It wasn't a political thread even!

When someone does that, I surmise I hit a hot button and created some doubt. There is no reason to dissect your comments, unless there is no large point they can claim is incorrect. Of course, you were brilliant, Amy! That is why there was a need to magnify small points!

About that thread: I did not think you could replace a banned work with symbols? Doesn't that get you points or a warning?

Some people are such babies. Wah, wah mommy. For God's sake, I wanted to say, "grow up"! I've had several people PM me attacking me for something I said that they didn't like and never have I felt the need to publicize it. I even had a moderator send me some very nasty PMs. He's no longer here, not from my doing, he ended up doing himself in. The best advice is to just ignore these posters, as eventually they'll shoot themselves in the foot.

Hey all, don't worry if I'm not around much. I stay out of trouble but work is finally beginning to pick up as tax season approaches. Most of my posting had been done at work out of boredom. I probably won't be that silent that you guys begin to wonder if I'm even allowed to post. But, actually, you might not even notice if I don't post at all.

I once made a drive-by on a thread. I made my comments and then left. It wasn't a political thread or anything that was seriously heated. Apparently someone took exception to what I wrote and questioned me, or something, on the thread. Since I didn't go back, I didn't see his comment.

The next thing I know, I received a PM from him demanding to know when I was going to answer his question. We went back and forth in PM's for a bit before I got snarky with him and laughed him off. I’m just of the firm opinion that guy was really pathetic.

Some are wondering if Obama should be flying to Chicago for Valentine's Day or to Colorado to sign a bill, etc....in light of the economic situation. They thought he was going to different.

Of course, it's Bush's fault. He's making Obama do this. Same old tired story...different thread.

Just how Obama went to Denver to sign the Stimulus bill. I couldn't understand why he flew across the country to do so when we're in such a sorry state in the economy. Apparently it was Bush's fault

Yeah, why did he have to go to CO for that? Wasn't the bill voted on and passed in DC? Why Colorado? I do find that to be a waste. But they'll defend anything that he does.
