Ahhh... raining like crazy here. But I don't care. Teresa already knows, but this weather calls for me to go to Columbia Harbour House in a bit and have clam chowder. :goodvibes Yuuuum...... perfect on a cold, rainy day down here.

What, we don't have a "stickin out your tongue" smilie?;)
Have some for me please.

New England or Manhattan?

I really want to post on that "did you know this about Rush Limbaugh" thread, but I just can't bring myself to do it, nicely... Rather than look at it like, wow, the guy lost his hearing and fought to get his life back, they have to bash him with "well, he lost his hearing because of his drug abuse." I'm sure he has had to go through speech therapy and other things to learn how to use the cochlear implant properly, which in my book shows how bad he wanted to continue doing what he does. Whether you like him or not, you really have to commend him for not giving up. A weaker person would have just said, this must not be what I'm supposed to do and give up. He knew what he wanted and went after it.

New England. I'll take a picture of it.:goodvibes :rotfl:

I want to post over there too, but.... I'm not even going to bother. I'd be wasting my time. And.... did you notice who started that thread? Ok, that person is something important on the boards.... go back and look. I find that a bit ironic.

I really think it's the liberals who are more interested in him. We've had a thread on him nearly every day lately!

Hmmm, no, I didn't look at who started it. I'll have to go look.

I especially love the "karma" comments. Priceless. If Karma was real, I must have been really bad in a former life...

Oh, and soon they'll be off Rush and onto Glenn or Hannity or Coulter, some other conservative. You know how it goes.:sad2: Tolerance my you-know-what. Liberals (mainly those here) are the most intolerant group on the planet. I find that amazing.

I think they really are fascinated by him. It's kind of weird.

Ohhh, I have to share this. I got on my Wii Fit last night and it always says something when you step on it like "OH" or "Great." So last night I stepped on it for the first time and it said, "Great!" I looked at my mom and told her that I must be in Wii Fit's Obamaland. I haven't even done anything yet and it's already telling me I'm Great! :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

Hi all. Haven't possted in a while but I thought that you guys would be the one's to ask about this since I know very little about american history. Do any of you know anything about the Logan act of 1799? And is it still active to this day?

I don't know anything about it, but I looked it up on Wikipedia and this is what I found:

Logan Act

What, we don't have a "stickin out your tongue" smilie?;)

i believe the logan act was cited when, prior to the election, bho called leaders of foreign countries to talk about how fabulous he is.

Hmm...... cause this is what I found and I don't know how true it is but It causes me to be very uneasy. Some one mentioned the Logan Act and I wasn't sure what it was or if it was applicable.

I hope this isn't true because the last thing this country needs right now is more political problems. However, I fear this might be true because of the political rumblings about Iraq before the election.

Wonder, your signature and my eyes do not agree. I keep reading "faces" as another word spelled like faces just with an "e" where the "a" is. :lmao:

I love it too! What do you get there? I love the veggie sandwich.

Kinda puts a wrinkle in that "one President" line (except when he was dumping on the economy, of course :thumbsup2 ).
