I have not seen anything about them on this board, so i have the feeling I know the answer already, but here goes: Are the Connections vouchers good at any of the US/IOA restaurants?

Thanks, I suspected that. Connections is no longer listed on Mary's website, due to all the problems people have had with them. I purposely stayed with the program after the trial month, because I thought I would more then make up the money on PH tickets, meal vouchers, etc. Now we have decided to do US/IOA and Seaworld instead, and got better deals for passes elsewhere. Can't use the vouchers there, I am now looking to purchase some restaurant GCs for our trip (saves you 20%, but you can only get cards in $10 denominations! It's beginning to look like I made a mistake and will never recoup my money. Oh, well, live and learn ;)

I was always suspicious of that Connections program, simply because you had to go through Mousesavers to figure out what it was all about! Why the heck would a business not even let you see the terms of service until after you sign up?
But a few times when those topics were brought up on the boards some Connections loons defended them through their teeth...

Besides Fan Club, AP and AAA discounts, what else is out there to save on US's restaurants?

 Sounds like TGM's site.

Is there a site that has Universal menus?

What are some must try snacks at Universal or IOA?

I second the warm gooey banana cake! It's delicious. Also the bread pudding at Confiscos is a dessert I always return for!

Mrs mud..... I am a "connections loon" :p and have been in the program for 3 years. I never buy Universal tix (not the best offers), but have bought Disney and Seaworld tix. I also had to return 3 tix because of a change in plans, got a credit to my account, no problem.

I have 3 kids so I buy tons of Toys r Us, KB Toys, Barnes and Noble, Media play cards for the 20% back.

I buy movie tix for $4.50 and use for us and teacher gifts

I have never used the food vouchers because they seem like too much trouble, too limited, and not enough savings to bother.

I recently sent off the household rebate that they offer, we'll see how long that takes :p

If you sign up for Connections, you can get immediate access to their website which shows all offers and info.

I also belonged to their Essentials for one year and cxld w/o an issue.

Disneygals: Thanks, that's encouraging. BTW, what is the household rebate?

Some woman on the Budget board called to cancel and they offered her household rebates for $100. I called and just asked for them and they sent me $60. Two are for $10 and 2 for $20, one each quarter. I sent my first one with a grocery receipt, curious how long it takes.

Last year they had video ones, $7.50 a quarter, but we didn't rent that much or forgot to get a receipt, etc, so I never tried them. They may still offer it.

As for their customer service, the people are nice, but don't always speak the best english and when I got the rebates, it took some explaining and he had to go ask someone.

I worked in customer service for a phone co years ago and as long as they're nice and trying to help, I have more patience than some.
