Hi,
I have received my Quick and Casual vouchers from Connections as well as my Breakfast Vouchers. I think I have idea as to where the Q&C vouchers can be used but where can I find a list of places to use Breakfast Vouchers?

Just please be aware that Connections knows NOTHING. I spoke with 4 representatives and none could tell me where these can be used. Consequently, I cancelled my membership. What terrible service and I was on hold for about 30 minutes in total and no one spoke English with any clarity.

I, too, had problems understanding the people at Connections. I called last week (after joining two weeks previous) to tell them that I had not received my membership packet in the mail. I think I talked to at least three different people, too. They informed me that I had until March 19th to cancel. I joined February 12th. That somehow didn't seem right. After asking over and over again what they were saying, I finally told them I wanted to cancel "RIGHT NOW". No more questions were asked. I will say that I received my tickets and lunch vouchers within 24 hours. But, I can't understand "garbled" English. I think they do this intentionally to frustrate the customer. JMHO.

but where can I find a list of places to use Breakfast Vouchers?

It's been awhile since I got the breakfast vouchers..but isn't it listed right on the vouchers, where they can be used?

Icy-Dog,

Our last vouchers had the places listed where the voucher could be used.

One question, what expiration date is listed on your vouchers? I am wanting to buy mine for our next trip, but we are going in June, so we need to wait for the new vouchers exp. 5/04 to be issued. Thanks.

I saw one of those news magazine shows a while back in which they featured the customer service department for some computer company. The customer service department had been contracted overseas (I think it was India or something) .... So, when folks called in, the customer service reps they were talking to were actually in India. They would assist them as best they could (in some cases, they had a script--if the problem is this, go through this script)....

This seemed off the wall before, but the more I read about the phone conversations with customer reps from Connections, the more I wonder if their customer service department is contracted overseas, too. (kind of makes you wonder)

If the restaurants are on the back of the vouchers or you do find out which places take them, PLEASE post it here. :) A lot of people want that list since Mary took it off of her site. (I understand why, so no need to explain)

If you do a search, I'm sure you'll find a few threads that list the places where you can use the vouchers

Thank You for all your imput and typing that whole list. I am printing it out as I type this to you.

I also was interested in everyones comments about the customer "service " at Connections. I thought I was the only one who couldn't deal with such a level of ineptitude. I don't know where Connections gets these people but they don't belong on the phone talking to customers.

The comment dcfromva added was right on target. I wonder if Connections does contract out to some other country. Dell Computer's customer service dept is in India. These people are not knowledgeable in their product and barely understandable. We learned to schedule our calls to Dell in the afternoon when the India facility was shut down for the night.

Thank you so much!!!! :bounce:

Oh my. Now that you've posted the info, I see it at the top of this board. So sorry to ask you to post the list when it is already here.

Actually everyone I've talked to at Connections has been very polite and spoken english very clearly...however...they don't know a thing about any of the Connections "benefits"!! I have had two different mysterious $72 charges on my credit card in the past two months. Each time I called to question them I got an unknown (different one each time) travel company plan that I'm sure I didn't sign up for. They were polite and canceled my "membership" with no questions or hassles and both credits have been received on later credit card statements. Maybe Connections new money maker is hoping that no one reads their credit card statements...:(

Connections is best dealt with on line! When I cancelled however, I had no problems, and the cancel went well.

As far as Dell...they aren't alone. A lot of computer places are answered in India. They did recently do a special in one of the computer mags, and they found the level of computer intelligence to be very high. They called and got support in all different places, and said the guys in India seem to have the most education, and were workign on their accents.
I find most computer support to be lacking..and I seldom call, but when I do, I start right out, if I am not getting anywhere..asking for hte next level up. No matter where you get..the first call is a person looking up key words on the computer...and their favorite word is..refomat LOL!!

The rest board now has a connections list posted to the top of the board..for those of us who miss it on Mary's site...so it'll always be there now.

----I can't find the list on the Disney restaurant forum. Is that where the list is?

Hey,
I see that they were added by the moderator while we were away at OKW with my 5 year old Grandson.

My advice is to shop around when using the vouchers. We had lunch at the Rose and Crown in England at EP. We shared fish and chips and I asked for, and received, another side order of fries, one cup of tea, a glass of water, and one tiny package of cookies. Even including the extra order of fries( which were not suppose to be garnered I was told) the price of the meal came to $9.48 which is about $1.25 lesss than the cost of the voucher. If I hadn't persisted in getting my extra fries the meal would have cost around $7. The reason we used the voucher at R&C at all is that we figured we could use them for fish and chips, which we REALLY wanted, and didn't bring enough cash ( forgot cc too).

I'm sorry..it's here on the budget board, not the rest board.

Hey, there is some guy trying to sell Disney Breakfast Vouchers on Ebay for something like 66 for 3 adult and one child. That is definately chaper than Connections where I bought mine. I am not going to Disney before the 31st of May but maybe someone on these boards is. I just hate to see a bargain missed. I wish these were available for a longer time since we go down again to BWV in September.
Let me know how you do.
Marylyn
