Connection troubles....?

Hey everyone!


Our flight to Florida has a connection at L.A.X, with only 40 minutes between arrival and reboarding. My question is, has anyone had a problem with connection (indirect) flights? eg. flight arrives late so you miss your connection? Does anyone know if you have to go through bag check/customs again before re-boarding?Will this be enough time?!

I asked this same question over on the transportation board and I got some really good responses. We have a 40 minute connection and 2 year old triplets.
