Connecting cabins

Sorry if this has been asked a million times. Personally for us it's never been an issue.
Friends of ours are a family of 5 so they would need either 2 connecting cabins or a Cat 4. They would prefer 2 connecting inside cabins to keep costs down and be able to have 2 bathrooms and 2 tvs.
Is it true that Cat 12 cabins don't connect?
What is the least expensive Cat. they could get that still connect?

The least expensive Cats that connect are the Cat 10.

Let them know that they should book as early as possilbe and the want the ones on deck 5, those are the not so secret porthole cabins. There are 6 of them on deck 5, only 4 of them connect (2 and 2). Also there are 2 pairs of connecting on deck 7 also, those have no portholes!

Yes, I knew about the SPH cabins but the connecting ones there are already sold out as are the deck 7 ones. That leaves deck 2 so they better jump on it. Their kids are teens so I'm not sure that they have to have them connect but sure makes things easier and kids less likely to roam around late at night.
