Hello! I was trying to make a lunch reservation for 11.16.16 for 50's Prime time Cafe .. On Disney world website it says all booked up..does this mean that even if we try and go here on the day we won't get a seat? ! Can ye recommend somewhere in Hollywood Studios for a 2.30/3pm lunch for two adults?

The Hollywood Brown Derby is the only one available to reserve a time..Is it any good~?

Thanks in Advance!

Yes, it means it is all booked up. Those restaurants accept reservations starting 180 days in advance, and you're trying to book 2 weeks out.

You may need to eat at a Lounge or a Quick Service at DHS that day.

Yes if nothing is showing up it is probably completely booked at since 50s Prime Time usually is operating at full capacity you won't be able to wait. I've gone during slow times when 50s Prime Time was not taking walk ups.

Hollywood Brown Derby is nice. It is more expensive but is a good meal.

I would book the Brown Derby so that you have something and then keep checking for a 50s Prime Time spot to open up.

You can also use the TouringPlans reservation finder tool to scout for reservations that may open up. They will email/text you if something becomes available.

1. Keep on trying even up to day you are going - try many times as you can per day - don't give up.
2. As @LadyGrimm mentioned try TouringPlans free ADR finder
3. Instead of looking for 2, under under for 4 and then change to 2. (I have done this many times). I found out it's easier to get ADR with 4 than 2.
4. Look under http://www.disboards.com/threads/november-cancelled-adr-thread-read-1st-post.3510083/
to see if fellow DISers has cancellations and can coordinate with you.

I've book my ADRs on my date and since then must have changed my ADRs at least 30 times...you have to be very persistent. I'm leaving tomorrow night and I was able to change my ADR at Prime Time even this morning to time/date I wanted.

Good Luck

50's PTC has a lounge (tune in lounge) that you could try. The menu on the MDE app looks like it had most of what the restaurant does and lounges don't take reservations.

If you're on the dining plan, Brown Derby is 2 TS credits per person. It's more upscale fare and considered a signature restaurant. As mentioned, more expensive and not quite as casual as the other restaurants in DHS.

If it were me and I couldn't get a reservation elsewhere in the park, I'd either eat quick service or check out the restaurants at the Boardwalk or Beach Club which is a quick walk/boat ride away - ESPN Club doesn't take reservations and shouldn't be too busy around that time.

Keep checking online or the app. I was able to get a Tuesday 12:30 a few days before while we were at WDW . I then cancelled our Monday 11:30 . When we were in line checking in they were turning people away if they had no ADRS
The lounge is an option but it only seats about 12 or so.
