Hello Disney friends,

We are going in the Fall for 10 days/9 nights. I purchased the park hopper plus tickets for 6 days. I was going to take the kids to one of the water parks on the 3 days that we aren’t at the theme park. Do I have that right? Can we go to the water park on the days we aren’t at the theme park? Or would that count as a day for the tickets?

Thank you in advance

The plus options are separate from theme park entrance. So you have 6 park days and 6 plus option days. Or you could use the plus options the same day as a park visit, then you’d be using one park day and one plus option.

The water park entitlements are in addition to the theme park entitlements.
Meaning they do not have to be used on the same day and it would not even be possible to enter a water park using theme park entitlements.

We did this before 12 days onsite with 6 day tickets and the plus options. Soooo much fun! We spent 6 days at the parks, 4 days at the waterparks and 2 days at DisneyQuest (back in the day when it was the open). Never even had the time to go to minigolf.

Even though adding park days is quite inexpensive, we saved almost $300 cutting back from 10 day tickets to just 6 day tickets with the plus option for all 4 of us. Well worth it and we loved our waterpark days. It was nice to sleep in and enjoy more relaxed days too.

Blizzard Beach in the morning, Typhoon Lagoon in the afternoon, that's all -- Consumes zero days and two plusses.
