Confused about add-on price

Hi All,

Member since 1999 here. The last time I added on was in 2001. I fell in love with Grand Floridian and add-onitis has gotten a hold of me. I seem to have some conflicting information from what my guide sent vs what I am seeing other places online. If you are a current member and adding on, is the cost per point $150 or $155? Can anyone who has added on at VGF let me know what their cost was direct from Disney?

Since you are buying from Disney, only your guides price matters.

If you look further down it shows current member add-on prices for VGF of $150 per point where as new members it is $155. So this also contradicts what my guide sent. Unless I am misunderstanding the definition of current member. I own at OKW, BWV and VB. So I would think I qualify as a current member. Is that not correct?

Sorry I didn't scroll down far enough. You would be a current member, so if it says $150, that would be your price.

I know that DVC news is usually pretty up to date with pricing, but if your guide has sent you something that says its $155, that is probably the price.

However, it is certainly worth mentioning that you saw something that said it was $150 for current members...it never hurts to ask to make sure any discounts are being given to you!

Current add on price is $155. Price increase effective 1/15/14 for new members and went to $155 a point for add ons 2/12/14.

Yup! Add on is $155 now..
I had planned to buy in at 100 points and as soon as the contract closes was going to do a 50 point add on.. (Saving $250)
I received a call from my sales agent a few days ago.. right before they sent out the finial paperwork, he explained to me the price for add on had gone up to $155..
