Do any of you call to reconfirm your reservations? If so, when do you do it, and do you also request your loop at the same time?
Leaving in 2 1/2 weeks!

I always call to reconfirm my reservations. However, the reservations are "sent" to Fort Wilderness about 4 days prior to your arrival. Any changes within that 4 day period need to be done with FW directly. I request my loop at the time of booking but if you have specific requests/concerns that you would like them to consider, you can fax this to FW within that 4 day window.

You can also check your reservations on the internet using your confirmation number.

We waited until 4 days before our arrival date and called FW directly to request our preferred site. The number is 407-824-2727. They were very helpful and got all the info on our equipment, length, awnings, slide outs etc and were able to honor our loop request and accomodate us perfectly. CRS doesn't know the specifics of sites or camping equipment so what they put in the system isn't always enough info to get you the most appropriate site.
