Hi everyone,
Has anyone here ever NOT receive their confirmation letter from DVC Member Services. I made a ressie on Nov. 28 for Tokyo Disney Mira Costa Hotel and I am still waiting for the confirmation letter. I have spoken with Member Services. They gave me the reservation number so I have the ressie, just no paperwork.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is there another way they can send you the confirmation letter? Fax? email? Is there an individual at Member Services, a supervisor, that I can contact?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Larry

I know this isn't the answer you are looking for but it may help a little, that is for years now I have been entering hotels all over with printed confirmation in hand and no one has looked at it. They just ask for your name. You also have the number which I have never been asked for either. It would be nice to have a wriiten confirmation but it is not necessary. :sunny:

I've had a situation where twice I did not receive a letter regarding a reservation. In both cases it was when I changed or updated an existing reservation. I have always received the original but in these two cases I modified it to either extend a stay or change to another resort and I did not get the updated letter. I called member services in both cases and they sent me one.

I would not care if the reservation was in my name but when it's another family member or 1st time visitor they always feel more comfortable with a document in hand.

I had this happen when making a reservation for a friend....I just called MS and asked to mailed a new one, which they promptly did!

Ah, had that happen once to me in SanAntonio and was told I had no ressies, w/o that ressie confirmation in hand for proof, I would of been out in the street in a town full of conventioneers and no room.

Hi I don't know if this will help you. We have a 2 week reservation in March(booked 11 months out) and still do not have a confirmation letter, have called 3 X and been assured that it is in system but no letter?????? I think my husband said he can see it on line and has a reservation #. Oh he just said he got an email confirmation. we just booked again for Oct so we'll see what happens with this one. We have had at least two reservation a year since 2000 and never not had a confirmation letter. Carol :earsgirl:
