For the most part, I toatally DISAGREE with that.

I do think that (in most cases) if you put two people side by side, one person chooses to smoke pot, or do any other drug, and the other doesn't, the one who doesn't made a smarter choice and gets a point towards being a better person than the person who does the drug.

I confess that I look down upon and feel like I'm better than most people who do/have done drugs.

My best friend has taken more drugs than I care to remember.
one of the best guys I know confesses to love to drink and has done pot.

Those guys don't judge people. Personally, they're the better people because they don't. People who judge other based on something insignificant are low on my list of the best people in the world.

Let he among us without sin be the first to condemn.

What's better, doing a few drugs in your youth or being conceited for the rest of your life? I mean, drugs pass out of your system in a few weeks, but man, arrogance is hard to get rid of. ;)

I think he has the totally right kind of arrogance. Drugs are bad, and people shouldn't do them, and most people who do them are pretty freaking stupid if you ask me.

oh, so not only do you judge people, but you're name calling now too?

let me just say, my guys don't judge. That doesn't mean I don't. right now, I'd take a bunch of people who have done drugs, but are great people deep down, over someone who talks like that.

 ALRIGHT, KNOCK IT OFF! Nobody is going to win this argument and we are getting WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY off topic.

I confess I have a friend who has longed to chug down a bottle of liquor. I also confess that she wished she could get her hands on drugs. I confess that I helped her get out of that stage before she could acutally harm herself.

She's not a bad person. She's my backbone. She knows me inside out and backwards. She'll do anything to help anyone. She's one of the nicest, and most caring person I've ever met.

Does that make her a stupid, evil person? I think not.
I confess I have a feeling she's not the only person who's had thoughts about doing drugs.

Nah, I'm not talking about his opinion on straight edge. I'm talking about his one thread he has up where he posts his picture (in every single page) and talks about how smart he is.

I'm not saying that drugs aren't bad, yeah, they're really bad for you. But I mean, so is alcohol. Also, it's not as if some people who have used drugs actually abuse them.

My one friend was drinking in the woods with a bunch of other kids. She drank so much pure rum that she was double the legal limit. The cops came and they all ran. She got caught because she fell down a 30 ft hill and broke her wrist.

She's silly.

I'm not arguing. I'm discussing and conveying my opinion.

and I started the thread. I don't care if its off topic.

Hm. Megan, I think you need to expand your mind.

Fred, we need more people like you on this board.

Have you ever made a bad choice? Everyone has. For some people, taking drugs once was a bad choice. I'd venture to say if your parent was teenager in the 70's, they probably took a drug of some kind.

Really, unless you're deep into it, like doing heroin, speed, cocaine, crack, pills, so called "drugs" aren't that bad. Marijuana is illegal, but it isn't nearly as harmful as cigarettes.

Marijuana is the definition of "recreational drug". It provides a euphoric feeling, and it calms you. Other than smoke inhalation (which isn't as bad as with cigarettes) it doesn't have any adverse health affects. No brain damage (contrary to popular belief) and less chance to cause cancer. You are aware marijuana is prescribed to glaucoma patients right?

yeah, skills that kills, yadda yadda yadda,

someone confess, i wanna play the priest
