This is the first time I've heard of that rule. I let them know it was my husbands birthday and I gave them our medical requirements. When i called they told me that they had a page of instructions for our family. They should be able to put the birthday request. I would call CRO again, sometimes it depends on who answers the phone. Well I've had Leadership Class today and haven't had access to a computer until now. My fingers were beginning to cramp up.

stepdisney, did you ever get lucky w/ your airfare? I've had a heck of a time trying to find a good deal. I found on Delta from Nashville to Orlando for $118 roundtrip per person and that's great but.... the flight leaves at 6:30 in the morning. The night before we leave is our championship night at the Horseshow and we'll be out til early morning. We at least want to catch a 10:00 a.m. flight. SW normally meets our "requirements" but historically it's been July before they run the $49 specials. So I guess I'm playing the waiting game.

I'm waiting on SW too. All others are over $200 from NY to Orlando. I checked my e-mails from last years trip and I origianally booked it in late June, and then another great deal for less came up in July. I adjusted the price and got a credit. I am hoping for one of those $50 deals. Good luck to you.

Thanks. We've purchased our tickets for the past 3 years the first couple of days in July and I'm hoping they stick w/ that schedule. I check on a daily basis though. Good luck to you too!

So far we have $188 RT on United and around $165 RT from SW. We don't have FF miles on SW but we do on United. Unfortunately, DH would have to leave the day before and come home 6 hours earlier than when we want to come home. I'm trying to book on Spirit Airlines which departs from Atlantic City, a small but convenient airport. I keep watching. We booked on Airtran the last trip and total RT for four was $460!! I keep hoping for something like that to come around. I check daily for SW ding fligihts. Nonsmom, did you check jetblue? I've been seeing really great deals. I think they leave from NWK. Not sure if you want Laguardia or NWK. Good luck everyone.

No, I haven't checked into Jet Blue, I was hoping for SW out of Islip. That was what we did last year. I had my mom drive us in my car so we didn't have to bring car seats and strollers. It worked out great. I will be doing the same this year, I hope.

Jet Blue has always been more than SW. I will check now. We need to go out of either LGA or JFK for JB. Newark is too far to drive for us. I'll keep you posted.

Okay, confirmed, Jet Blue is $935.20 for 4 tickets. I hope I can do better than that on SW. I will keep checking.

My first request I typed it via online the type of room view I prefer. And when I called to confirm that received my ressie I wanted to add another request that it was my DD's 5th birthday celebration. She told me that she can only add one request on her computer. That I will have to wait till check-in to let them know it's her birthday. I was hoping to have a card signed by the characters waiting at the front desk (from what I have been told they do in the past for guest celebrating a birthday).

MickeysHouse07 - Not sure what they mean by one request. I've made multiple requests and not had a problem. I would call back and talk to another CM.

Stepdisney - You are so lucky to be able to fly for under $200. Flights from CA are so much more. Wish I still lived in NY. Also, I have photos from our 1997 trip to GF, but they are all 35mm, so I can't (or should I say, I don't know how to) post. Guess that's what happens when I get older...........and also the reason that I am still a frequent "resort changer"!

I'm wondering if it is because I placed my ressie via online and you are only allowed 29 characters and before it was done through the phone they were allow to do whatever I wanted. Who knows?

Stepdisney - Where in Jersey are you from? You mentioned AC airport and got my attention. I'm about 40 miles away from AC. I'm flying from Philly and was able to get a flight for $49 one way - airtrans on my return flight. And only going to FL I booked through USairway $69 one way because we are stopping to see my SIL in Ft Myers. If you go online after midnight usairway you can see (sometimes) their price drop. That what happen to me.

I just did it. Switched my Pop Package to AKL. I finally switched b/c I had a pin code discount package booked at Pop and I was reading on another thread how Disney is cracking down on discount codes. Even though my code was legit, and I have the pin code, I decided to switch now before it was too late. I should have changed last week, because now they only have standard rooms available, and I want poolview or savanna. Well, I guess that means I get to keep calling!

I too am an official resort changer. I started at POFQ, changed to WL, changed to ASMO because I thought I was nuts for spending so much $$ at WL, then changed back to POFQ and now we are officially booked at WL woods view with bunk beds. So much for saving a little $$. And the bunk beds are a surprise for the kids.

I have also noticed this behavior elsewhere in my life. I am currently looking for a new vehicle and low-and-behold I keep changing my mind.

I think I need some help.

Well I'm having anxiety over changing from AKL to WL. I've made a list of pros and cons and WL does have a few added extras like the EWP. But the theme of AKL is crying out to me.

I just couldn't stand it. I called and switched back to AKL. My heart is just in the theme of the pool and the entire resort. I just read a thread that someone posted who had gotten back and it confirmed my own thoughts.

stepdisney & disneybride, we'll be over at WCC to have dinner one night so I'll try and give yall a "shout out". I also want to check out the lodge while I'm there in hopes of next trip.

Okay I am at it again, only I didn't change my resort, I just added a night. Here's how I justified it to my DH. I looked up flights out of NY on Sept. 12. they were about $149 on the outbound and $54 on the return. When I check for Sept. 11, obviously they were empty and cheaper. I asked DH if it was okay, and he assured me that it was probably safer to fly on that day. So, I called this a.m. and added a night. The price for airfare for to leave on Sept 12 was almost $600 more for 4 tix than flying out on Sept 11. The price of an extra night at WL is around $200. That's a no brainer!

Am I crazy flying out on that day?

Ktink - you what? change?? Go back and change. just kidding. As such as I would love to stay at the AKL I'm so afraid of the construction. We are planning on taking several break and hanging around the resort.
