The Yacht Club is calling...Ahoy Land Ho.....lol...

After having so much fun at the waterpark place in the Dells....DD will love SAB....and I much prefer beachy motif...OMG...lol...DH...whatever makes you happy honey...lol...he really wants WL...I do too...but...I wouldnt have to change my ADR's....Coral Reef...Ohana and California Grill...


Ok..enough of me needing a BIG intervention...

Webkinz.....DD10 has abt 7 now....she loves going online, they can play..pring out certificates..etc...they were hard to find around here...and we found some in WI....

VA Beach...my kids go there every year....the last week in July, every year with my ex...lol..he had it put in our divorce papers..its a family thing of his. I was once....Loved the beach

Also...glad you got Kona...we had a wonderful breakfast there Also, do some more research (like you havent..lol) on Mama Melrose.....thats all I am saying....

Disneybride OMG! We had a promise. You pinkie swore Actually, YC is near the top of my list of places I'd love to stay. If you ask me (and you did) I'd go for it. I'm not sure if you DD would enjoy SAB at such a young age. The slide looks like it may be a bit much, even for my DS(6). The location is great and the rooms are a lot larger. With the deals out now, it wouldn't be that much of a difference. That would leave me at WL alone.....again .

Please please please tell me about Mama Melrose. I read that it is eh at best. We have the Fantasmic Dinner Package booked. Is this a waste? I don't want to have to stand in line for and hour or two before the show. This way, we get preferred seating....but is the food worth it?

Still on the fence....I know DD wont fully enjoy SAB...but there are a few little cute spots by sand etc...allears.net had great photos....SO...I like the rooms are larger...but I would have to go standard and pray for a decent view...whereas I am in a CY now at WL...and I love knowing that I'm in the MK area...I am not sure of the pool hours, however dont thnk we will be taking DD swimming at 8 pm...I just love the beach motif...I am in the "woods" every weekend almost..lol...I know not the same.

The $$ differance is not much...heck I was willing to fork over cash for a silly Honeymoon Suite..I mean room....

So I will see what CRO says....tomorrow.....

So....I did research on MM and the Fantasmic pkg...what i got was....

Food was ok...some folks were upset they still had to wait..even though they had seating reserved for them with the package...something abt they had to sit and wait..no, they had to stand in line ...all Iknow is that it wasnt all positive, wish I knew were that thread was!! We almost booked that!!
MM was rated much better than H & V....
You have so many great ADR's though....I would go for it..you never know...everyone's has different experiences....

I really dont want to leave my pal at WL...but maybe they will give you MY room I am undecided....We will still make plans to say hi I will sneek you into SAB and get all the Disers mad!!! lol...KIDDING...ok..maybe jsut your kids....lol

I've been Dis ing all day. I really have to get things together for our trip on Monday but I made some changes.

I am very excited and I feel, FINALLY at peace with my decision...... for today anyway

congrats on kona...I think ThaT, is a great decision. Read all kinds of good reviews, hope it lives up to the hype...I really want to stroll around the polly and it was a good way of getting my family there. They never want to go resort peeping...

I'll take LOTS of photos of other resorts and post them all over the place for ya. I plan on doing a lot of resort peeping.

Crystal Palace is calling your name.....My husband loved this place last time. He thought the food and the location were great. I try not to say "LD" Instead, I use words that rhyme with the phrase, like Fast Pay. ....it works for me

I understand your issue about the woods because it was the same issue I had with WL and is exactly why I tried so hard to get AKL. The difference in the room price at YC or BC would be about $1000 since we are staying so long and I know my DH is not about to up the budget one more time (I've already asked ). I would love to try BC or YC and we plan to take a trip over there so that we can check it out. This should win him over. I don't want the BW or BWI because we live on the Jersey shore and go to the "real" boardwalk all of the time during the summer. The theming on the Epcot side doesn't capture as much interest for us as the MK theming does because of our close proximity to the the east coast beaches but the room size, pool, and location (we love Epcot and MGM) along with the Boat/Bus/Walk transportation options make this location our favorite. I look out of my bathroom window every morning and see the WL view (minus the castle and monorail of course). We have beautiful pines in our back yard. I know that I may not be helping but if I could change, I would. My DS's would love to walk to Epcot and I would burn off some of the free dining with a walk to MGM


Waiting......Let me know what you come up with. I may use the "See! Disneybride's Husband is letting HER change to YC" defense. His answer would be like my moms..."If all the other DH's were letting their wives jump off of a bridge, would you want to do that too??"

Crystal Palace is 1 TS...Gotta love that. There are no princesses in this palace which would up the credits to 2. You do get to dine with Pooh and all the gang from the hundred acre woods.

We are leaving on Monday and I am pretty much packed. We all need new sunglasses, and that is just about all except for a few little extras like goggles for my DS (12) and snacks for the condo. Believe me, I have a list. We are relaxing through this trip because I have soooo overplanned the Disney trip. My DH said we are just going to do what we want, this trip.

Just went with standard view, and am happy with that. With these deep discounts, and not paying for my other 2 kiddos, I have to take advantage..YC/BC very pricey you know. It will be so much easier with the stroller too.
While the WL looks so majestic and beautiful, I still want to stay there some day....want to take advantage for this trip.
I hope I made the right decision...I so love the MK area

hey just thought of something you reminded me of for my packing list that I better start making...we always bring a little pair of cheap binoculars. Now that crystal palace sounds good...crud...

I only have 3 days...I don't know if I want to give any of these up...
(although personally, I'm not that devoted to the concourse thingy..I hate steak it's the dh that likes that one) maybe I can sway him with the peel and eat shrimp hmmmm

Alone again....at the Wilderness Lodge Of course you know I had to call CRO and at least inquire about changing to YC. I called with the codes (zjz) which was paying for the dining plan and a room discount. The difference in the price was $1400 . I tried every way including switching resorts with the free dining (nothing available) and within $1400 is the closest I could come to what I already have. Because the trip is paid in full, I can't pry another chunk of change from DH's hands. I couldn't even get him to commit to PPP, but...thanks to an angel we're going. Hi angel . It is a surprise for the children. . My DH is very frugal (nice way to put it). He likes things nice but he keeps a firm grip on the budget. As a stay-at-home mom, that's good because I would give away everything. He keeps me grounded.

Very excited about Williamsburg/VBeach I'll try not to think Disney while I'm away but it will be difficult. I think I'll do a trip report and call it my Disney pre trip report

Mic-cakey, go with Crystal Palace. I heard something about renovations at CR? If you plan on being at MK, you won't have to leave. When are you going again? I gave up a good time, 6:20, at Crystal Palace yesterday for sunday, Sept 2. We switched to Boma on that day, Kona on the original Boma day and Crystal Palace on the last day for lunch.

I feel so validated. Just when I think I am the most indecisive person on the planet......This is just awesome. Seriously, I think I am going to print this thread out for DH to read so he realizes I am not alone in my neverending quest to plan the perfect trip.

I'm going the 7th-11th...I won't have tickets though till the 8th, which is another whole problem...I could not get all the days in one hotel so they had to split me...my first day is room only. I originally had a four day park hopper, tacked to the rest of the trip, they said it would not start till the
8th, so that being a waste, because I'm leaving early on the 11th and won't use the tickets...I opted to just get the 3 day hopper..I thought maybe I could put the tickets on the one day room only but that would not allow me to use the ddp...

anyway, one cm I talked to when making dining ressie said they should be able to work it out for me, but when she transfered me to the resort ressie person, who seemed grouchy, she said no...and maybe once I got there I could ask at the front desk....overall, she just seemed to not want to go through the trouble...
so when I get there I will try but if it doesn't work out, we'll just make the best of it...go to disney quest, hang out at the pool and resort hop, hopefully..

You are sooo funny I spit out my diet soda reading this one (does that count as a water view?) I'm sneaking to Kohls and then to the salon for a pedi so the flip flops look good . I believe it is a few short of a fortnight (this is as close to a patriot smilely as I could find ) I like the CEO thing. It really is true. My youngest DS keeps asking me to homeschool him next year . I did for my oldest when we moved from North Carolina to NJ because it was in the middle of the school year.

Back on topic.....which ADR did you change and what do they look like now?

At first, I was going to have to add a room only day to my ressie because I added an extra night on at the beginning. I complained and said that I was either going to add another day or not and that if I were them, I would want to additional day at the beginning. The room was available but without the dining and I simply asked why I couldn't get it. The very, very nice CM added the day on for me. They should be able to get you in one hotel for the entire stay. It's Disney, they do magic

Stepdisney, have a great time on your trip. Wish we were going somewhere between now and Sept., but it is not in the cards. Just wanted to let you know that I was in Marshall's (not sure if they have them in NJ), but they had Haviana's on sale for $7. They had them in pink and blue. I have hit my flip flop limite for this year. No more room in the closet.
