Condiments in resort food courts?

I think Disney charges enough for the rooms to cover the cost of a few butter packs and jelly. Do I agree with stealing it by the handfuls? No. But if you are a paying guest at the resort, one or two packs isn't a crime. Especially if you pay to eat at the food court the day you get the condiments. I don't think they are planning to wipe out the whole butter and jelly supply at the resort.

And how sad is it that people have to be told that condiments and utensils are for customers of the food court, and not for those just trying to take advantage of the current system. Previous abuse led to the current RFID chipped drink cups. What next- do they need to pay for extra CMs to man the condiments/utensils stands and dole out supplies to each customer because they can't be trusted with an honour system?

By your code, apparently you'd be right behind those fine folks who think the toppings bar is an open invitation to build their own free salad because their family paid for a fountain drink to share. An extreme example, to be sure, and I'm not saying the OP would contemplate such a thing. But it is certainly an extension of your argument.

Exactly

I believe that the entitled attitude expressed here by many results in the high cost of the rooms. Someone, somewhere is paying for the condiments taken by non paying guests

In my experience, there are small Smuckers peanut butter and even cream cheese individual cups often available at the villa resorts usually found out at breakfast. Also they typically have a selection of tea bags on offer for "free" so to speak. I have also found the cream cheese at Port Orleans Riverside when I bought a bagel for breakfast once, but only presented from behind the counter (in a basket like the jellies) when I asked for it after not finding it out. Usually you can find the jellies at breakfast easily anywhere, and honey and butter. Mustard and ketchup I have seen usually readily available as well but sometimes only in the pumps with small paper cups. I think it depends what resort category you are in...have never seen PB or Cr Cheese at Pop (and we have stayed there about 4 times). I used to buy the Jif PB cups at dollar store - get 3 good sized PB cups in the box for $1 - these cups are about 2X bigger than the smaller "free" ones you can find at the Villa resorts. I wouldn't mind paying for them if they were available at the other resorts - I think Disney used to offer them more visibly - I am surprised they don't have a supply of small PB cups out for purchase, though, at the value and mid resorts, but perhaps they feel bad charging for an item that used to be "free" - not sure!
