Concourse Steakhouse

Is the Concourse Steakhouse on the top of the CR? Or is that the California Grill? I have heard that the Steakhose is great but I am afraid that it is too fancy for my 3 and 5 yr old. I never take my kids to fancy restaurants in Boston but I know that WDW is a little different as there are kids everywhere. My children are well behaved at the restaurants when the service is pretty quick. So how child friendly is the steakhouse?

You've got them mixed up. The California Grill is on the top floor, open for dinner open. It's not fancy but it's a notch above a regular sit-down restaurant; Disney calls the dress "smart casual."

The Concourse Steakhouse is the Contemporary's all-purpose sit-down restaurant. It serves a good breakfast and a decent lunch (the burgers are the best at WDW). Your children will be very happy there. It's loud, airy, and casual.

The steakhouse is great for lunch---the kids got the paint a cookie tray for dessert!! CA grill is also good for dinner but expensive. If your kids can sit and color and not run around, they can manage both places. Have fun!
