Concierge Service?

OK...I'm really going to sound like a idiot here but....exactly what is Concierge Service? What all is included with this?

The concierge will make transportation arrangements, get you hard-to-procure tickets for special events, send your suit out be cleaned and have it delivered to your room, etc.

Concierge Level rooms usually have restricted access. You need a room key to take the elevator to the concierge level in many hotels. Many will have special amenities such as bathrobes, turn-down services, special soaps and shampoos or other little extras.

At Disney, the concierge will make your PSs and help to plan your itinerary. If you want a special welcome gift to surprise someone on arrival or after a day in the park, the concierge will make sure that it is in the room. Concierge guests are offered a continental breakfast, complimentary beverages and snacks throughout the day, appetizers, d'oeuvres and wine in the late afternoon and desserts with cordials in the evening.

Concierge service is a nice treat if you're looking for a little pampering on your vacation.
