We are booked concierge level for the first time next Dec. We are considering the deluxe plan, wouldn't do the regular as we really like the appetizers. Has anyone done both and wished they wouldn't. I think even if we don't use all of our meals we would still come out ahead. For our family of 5 it would cost us probably $35-40 for a cs meal. We will also be doing a split stay so would only pay for dining plan for 4 nights but have 5 full days to use it.

Thanks,
Karen

We stayed at GRRPC last year in May and did the 3 meals a day plan. It really wasn't necessary but then again it was all paid for and I didn't have to worry about what we were spending on food or tips when we go there. What we did many a morning was go to the quick service place and get breakfast with eggs and pancakes and take them back up stairs and have them with the fruit and juice and such that was offered. As well we did several sit down breakfasts for a change of pace. I went with the idea that I wasn't going to worry about using all the meals and snacks vs trying to stuff ourselves just because we had the plan. In turn we did not really use the food offerings that much other than the snacks. We never did any of the appetizers that were offered at night but did come back and enjoy a cookie or two:rolleyes1
This year I am struggling right up to the last minute with rather or not to take a plan. One day it is take it and the next day it seems foolish so I will be interested to see what others have to say. We will have annual passes for the first since we are going back at Christmas and was thinking the DDE might be a better option with saying Club Level since there is so many food options. If you do take it I think you just have to make up your mind that if you don't use all the credits you are not going to stress out about it. Also, keep in mind that you get the resort mugs this time and really those aren't needed with the offerings in Club Level.
