At boardwalk club level right now! Got a boardwalk view room with standard view booking. Husband never wants to leave after the amounts of yuengling they have! Finding this so convenient with our two year old.

CL is very convenient! Glad you are having a great time!! My DH always appreciates the never ending Yuengling too! :lmao:

Is it possible for you to take note of the evening hot offerings? If not, that's ok, just enjoy your vacation! :goodvibes

Oops...forgot to say, staying at the Yacht Club for the first time; was booked CL garden view; ended up with CL lagoon/pool view :banana:

Congrats on the upgrade :wizard:......hope you're having a great time.

I would love to hear about them too!popcorn::

Okay hot offerings were both triangle shaped! There was a kind of Mexican stuffed one that my husband liked but to me tasted like it was part of a frozen dinner so I didn't like it. I don't know what the other triangle was since we didn't try it.

I know everyone only asked about the hot offerings, but we really liked the cold stuff. They had a middle eastern type chick pea salad and then a panzanella. The panzanella was delicious.

Oh and thanks to this board I had two women tell me "oh they don't have here now" during dessert hour but I totally walked away from them and got that yuengling! We're from Michigan and yuengling doesn't distribute out there.

It's been seriously great and really helpful for us with the toddler. We're right outside the lounge so the level of convenience is just amazing. Everyone here is so wonderful and nice.

Ah, the mystery triangle. :rotfl2:

Thanks for the update! What is panzanella, BTW? :confused3

Panzanella is a bread salad. Kind of like a salad with really delicious croutons, and they leave the lettuce out! And the croutons aren't terribly crunchy.

Technically both were mystery triangles since of course the items were not labeled! It made me laugh so hard thinking about this thread but of course I couldn't detail this to my husband so I had to laugh alone!

The one thing I kind of wish they had was paper plates. Not for us but for our 2 year old. I asked and they did offer to get them but I just grabbed extra at the bakery. I know it's probably tacky but it's easier to grab these than give the kid a plate to break or try to put food out on a cocktail napkin! Would rather not break a plate or damage their furniture.

Oh and my husband asked for bottled water last night and was given two of the big glass bottles. Works for us!

Okay tonight at boardwalk the hot appetizers are a mini southwest tortilla with chicken and peppers and a pork potsticker with a pretty nice sauce.

Tabbouleh and a cole slaw are the salads

Mmmmm, that sounds good! Thanks so much for the update! :goodvibes

The Poly has sticky wings and pot stickers tonight. So good! Assorted cheese, fruit, crackers, vegetables, hummus, green bean tomato salad. I know I am missing a few things. There are also uncrustables.

The food is very good. This is our first time club level, it has been well worth it.

Glad you are enjoying Poly CL :). We are trying CL there in December and I have read a lot of great reviews lately, so I'm excited to try it :goodvibes.

Ooh I have not been there on a Wednesday. Sounds yummy! My first poly club was in April and dd and I loved it! Chocolate almonds in the afternoon were yummy! Watch for them, they alternate the gummy bears and stuff daily.

Have a great trip! Thanks for checking in. We love to live through others vacations:goodvibes

We had the chocolate covered almonds today. They were yummy! This was our first afternoon that we have been at the resort during the afternoon. We should be here tomorrow afternoon too.

Tonight at the Poly, the desserts were carrot cake, lemon meringue, and Mickey chocolate mousse. They always have chocolate chip cookies and oatmeal raisin.

The only disappointment was the pool slide was closed tonight due to a maintenance issue. The volcano pool was open. My kids wanted to use the slides and the whole volcano pool was closed last night. Hoping that they fix it by tomorrow afternoon.

I love to hear about the Poly. We will be there Saturday for the first time.
If anyone wants to know anything about the CL I would be more than happy to report back. So many people have helped me so I would love to help others. Let me know.

Anyone staying at WL of late? I am trying to find out if they have converted to Joffrey Coffee yet
