I used Disney thinking on this trip....LOL. I knew we would be flying down prior to cruise day as I won't fly in the day the ship sails and let's be honest.....you can't fly into Orlando for a 3 night Disney cruise and pass WDW without stopping :rolleyes1. So, I figured we'd fly in the day before and spend 2 nights after to get our WDW fix. However, after giving it some thought, it seemed silly to just get in 1 night before, might as well do 2 nights to have a little more time....so that's what I did.....gotta love how the Disney brain works :rotfl:.

Glad you enjoyed the cruise and were able to take another one :wizard:. Cruises are a lot of fun and I am very excited to combine cruising and Disney as that has to be the best combination ::yes::.

We just returned from our WDW/cruise/WDW trip. It was fantastic as always. You are going to love the DREAM. We ended up not doing club level this trip. I hate to say this on the club level thread, but we did not miss it all. It was our first non cl trip in three years. I was worried, but we had great room locations, and great views at WL and BC so it was all good. Enjoy your trip.

Thank you for this :goodvibes. I can't wait to see the Dream in person as I'm sure pictures don't do it justice. I'm glad you had a great cruise as well as great WDW stays. I think you chose 2 great resorts for before/after your cruise. The WL is one of our favorites and we loved the BC when we stayed there. Glad you had great room locations/views at both resorts :wizard:.

Just wanted to say that we stayed at Boardwalk Inn club level for 4 nights last week and it was great. Our room was 4237 right across from the lounge, and was a standard club level room with the bonus of a boardwalk view. It did only have a kind bed and a sofa that flipped to a twin. We weren't sure about it at first but once we figured out the sofa it worked perfectly for our 2 year old.

We loved the boardwalk view and the 2 year old didn't mind the noise from illuminations as long as we were inside.

Patsy was our housekeeper for the week and she was incredible and made a couple fantastic towel animals my daughter slept with and wanted to bring home!

We really liked the club level offerings. For us the best parts were dessert and then beer, soda, bottled water, and crushed ice. My husband was thrilled with the yuengling and I was happy with all the diet cokes I could drink! My toddler loved to just stand next to the ice bucket eating the ice! (Who knows? She loves cold stuff!)

We figured out we probably spent about $20 on food for the 2 year old during our stay since we were able to get so many things she would eat in the lounge. This was truly awesome.

For us, club level was worth it and we are trying to figure out how to swing it again next year but we're looking at Magic Kingdom resorts so the pricing is harder to stomach.

I just got an email from IPO welcoming us to the resort and requesting our input as to room requests, travel arrangements, etc. Problem is that I already sent this info a few months back and have had numerous emails and phone conversations with the IPO during that time. ????????

I wrote back, with my completed itinerary attached again, and expressed my concern that they didn't have it when it had already been sent. They replied with an apology, and said that all of my requests were now noted. What the heck? Did none of my earlier emails or requests over the phone get entered somewhere? Has anyone else had this happen?

I'm excited about our first stay in a CL room, but this doesn't exactly give me warm fuzzies about the personal care one would expect from CL service. :(

I am excited!! I got my Magic Bands posted to my MDE last night!!! I heard they would be in all resorts by the end of October..guess it was true,

I got pretty much the same thing with my CL arrangements (we check in on Saturday). I had faxed in things months ago. They also didn't read all the pages where I was requesting they set up a photo session.

I'm hoping the actual trip goes much better than the pre-planning service they have provided.

Glad you liked BWI CL. We've never stayed there, but it's on my list to try :). As far as monorail resorts, we are trying CR CL and Poly CL in December so I can't comment on those personally, but I have read many great reviews on both. If the GF is doable, RPC (main building CL) is amazing :thumbsup2.

I hope you have a great BC CL stay :wizard:.

We have a CL stay next week with YC, we have had the same experience, nothing noted, not answering all questions, and it numbered all 3. After the third email to get the last question answered, they got snippy! We live BWI CL, but they were booked, now I see why! Not too sure about this trip, but it won't ruin it that's for sure. Going back to handling it all myself. Canned responses are obvious, and don't answer everything!

Just got home from a fabulous stay at AKL. The Club level staff was excellent. We loved it so much we booked bounce back for September and I am getting ready to book a stay in May. Truly an awesome vacation!!! If anyone has any specific questions, I would be happy to try to answer.

Got back from AKL CL yesterday too. Loved every minute if it!!

We will be staying CL AKL in December! I'm SO looking forward to this trip! I am glad to see that others are having good experiences! Thanks for all the input!

Just a little FYI: the same IPO handles Boardwalk, Yacht Club & Beach Club. So you would possibly have had the same experience if you were at Boardwalk this trip.

I'm sorry you didn't get the service you have previously tho. I really think it depends on which CM you get. And don't forget, the in hotel CMs are different if from the IPO. We were at YC club level just 2 weeks ago & had the same great experience we always have. CMs were all friendly & helpful. Enjoy your vacation!!

Considering CR CL TPV vs CR ToweR TPV. I'm having a tough time choosing. We can do the CR tower TPV with MVMCP and cabanas 2 days OR CR CL TPV and forget the MVMCP and cabanas.

Which would you do? I'm having a hard time deciding which will be the best for us. We are 3 generation family with 2 rooms, 4 adults and 2 children, a 3 year old and 10 month infant.

TIA

I would really hate to give up MVMCP, but given those exact choices I would stay CL.

I would definitely go with CL. It may be too cold to swim in December and you may not want to use the cabana anyway. The lounge is a great place to relax and meet up with the rest of your family. A couple hours in a cabana vs having access to the lounge every day. With the ages of your group I think you would get much more use out of the lounge than a cabana. With the money you save on breakfast alone maybe you can still fit in MVMCP. Good luck with your decision.

I tried the MVMCP when dd was 11. Really 7pm is late for kids. By 10 we were tired and went home. The parade was nice BUT a 10 mo old and 3yr will be asleep anyways. I would do CL and enjoy some tlc!

The views of MK are awesome from the lounge:thumbsup2
