Got back from AKL CL yesterday too. Loved every minute if it!!

Glad you had a great time :goodvibes.

We will be staying CL AKL in December! I'm SO looking forward to this trip!

Have a great trip :wizard:. We've stayed at AKL but never CL, so I'm hoping to try it on a future trip as I've head nothing but great things about it :).

We will be there Dec 3-7.

Hope you have a great time :goodvibes.

Considering CR CL TPV vs CR ToweR TPV. I'm having a tough time choosing. We can do the CR tower TPV with MVMCP and cabanas 2 days OR CR CL TPV and forget the MVMCP and cabanas.

Which would you do? I'm having a hard time deciding which will be the best for us. We are 3 generation family with 2 rooms, 4 adults and 2 children, a 3 year old and 10 month infant.

TIA

We've never stayed CL at the CR, but have stayed CL at other resorts and I have to agree with the others that I would go with CL. I also agree with maxie86 that what you would save on breakfast (along with the cost of 2 cabanas) might be a way to work in tickets for the party ;). As far as the cabanas, they seem really nice (we've never rented one), but the weather is too unpredictable in December to count on being able to use it. Good luck.

We stayed CL for the first time in September at AKL. It was wonderful, DH really enjoyed using it. So much that he is now looking forward to Disney vacations, which is great. For me!

Hi guys! Just checking in. We leave in 39 days for our first CL stay at the BC. Can't wait! Thank you to everyone who has such awesome advice and information on here. It really helps a newbie feel more relaxed and excited. Thanks again!

Anyone with recent reviews of Sugar Loaf at GF? Staying there the week after Thanksgiving to take in the wonderful experience of Christmas at Disney.

Hi everyone!! Checking into BC CL in 18 days!!!:cool1::cool1:

I was wondering if any of you order from Garden Grocer or anywhere for your trip? I am mainly thinking about water and maybe some snacks. I see there is a $40 min so I wonder if it makes more sense to get these items from the BC Marketplace. We are flying.

Any thoughts?

Thanks:)

We just got back from a split GF RPC/ bc CL stay as it was every bit if awesome that I could have imagined. We stayed at GF first bc price wise it worked out better. It was kinda tough to leave but BC was nice as well. Nothing could match RPC though. My favorite part of our 11 day trip was waking up at 6am and watching the sunrise from the balcony at GF. I wish I knew how to post a picture here bc it's the most beautiful picture I've ever taken. If anyone has any questions on RPC or bc I'd be happy to try to answer them.

dh and I will be staying RPC 11/8-11/11. We can't wait.

Where did you choose to eat? In room?lounge area? outside patios? 5th floor?

I think exploring the building, finally will be fun!

I have stayed SL before but any info you want to share would be nice.
Thanks in advance.

Since no one answered here is mine. I was there with DD17 in May 2012. We loved it and I have rebooked all 4 of us for one night 1/1/14 before our VGF stay.

The lounge is a bit flat compared to others but the location is GREAT:cool1:

So convenient to everywhere.

We enjoyed taking our food up to our room and sitting on balcony. The views are all good. We liked people watching while we snacked.:rolleyes1

I have stayed CR, Poly and GF cl's and GF wins for food hands down. The afternoon tea was our favorite. Also having ham at breakfast was nice.

FYI this is last year for Osborne lights at HS so make sure to see that. Also they had holiday light up cupcakes last year at snack stands near lights that were really fun:goodvibes

Also check in over at GF thread. Definitely get more info there. K&A&C's mom , Blueskies , and Disneynut1, check in daily.

Glad you had a great stay. AKL CL is on our list to try as I've read a lot of great reviews :goodvibes.

I can't help on ordering from GG, but wanted to say I hope you have a magical trip. I can't comment on CL at the BC as we've never tried that, but the BC itself is a great resort :).

Glad you had a great trip. One of my favorite things to do when staying RPC is sitting in the lounge with my coffee early in the morning looking out at the courtyard pool watching the resort "wake up" :cloud9:. I've only stayed 3 club levels (GF RPC, GF SL, & WL CL), with RPC being my favorite and I totally agree that nothing could match RPC (although I think WL CL runs a close second as that is amazing ;)).

dh and I will be staying RPC 11/8-11/11. We can't wait.

You are going to love it :thumbsup2.

Ok.. This MIGHT be a bit of a pain, but if you take a taxi from BWI to the Hess station across the street! a case of water is like 4.00.. The taxi and water won't equal $20.

You could walk it.. I have walked over there from BWI, It was maybe 7 minutes... Water is super cheap and it's good zephyrhills

Ok that sounds like a good plan. Thanks!

I just booked our Jan trip to Poly CL! We did this once before, two years ago, and were spoiled. We couldn't do CL last year due to construction and we really missed it. The lounge is so convenient and we loved watching the fireworks from there with the music pixiedust:

Has anyone been since the renovation? Is the lounge different?

You freaked me out with this comment, so I did some searching, and it is just a rumor at this point. Of course many of the rumors turn out to be true, but until then, it is still just a rumor. :thumbsup2

However, I would agree that any visitor to WDW during the holiday season (and they start in early November) should see the lights, whether it is the last year or not! They are certainly amazing. We always start with that as the anchor for our November trips, and work all of our other schedules around that.

Thanks . I guess I am pessimistic. I really don't want to lose the lights and am afraid Star Wars will win.

I will keep my fingers crossed it doesn't happen.

I had posted pics over on poly thread. Also tikimanpages.com and Tikiman's Facebook page have more info too.

Here is a few from April and May.

We're booked for the Boardwalk Inn CL for October of 2014, I got an e-mail last month from the people who do the planning for the club, do they send this request form out that far in advance?

Has anyone here ever tried the 'business' lounge at Coronado Springs? Is it similar to offerings at other resorts? I'm a bit curious...
