I did a quick search of this CL thread and saw a few have used IPO to book a Wishes Cruise, has anyone used them to book an Illumination Cruise? Were they able to get the night you wanted? I've heard the Illumination Cruises are bit more popular than the Wishes Cruises and book quickly. Wondering if it would be better to have IPO try for a reservation along with the other party we are sharing with try and call for a reservation, or should I not bother sending this request to IPO?

BTW, we are looking for up to 5 more people to share the Illumination Cruise with a tentative date of Oct 26, cost would be ~$40 which includes tip for the driver.

We have reserved the Illuminations cruise through IPO on several occasions. Have not had a problem with booking.

Yeah! Got my email from Yacht club IPO with our dining reservations! Got everything we asked for all but one the exact time - the one that wasn't was a whole 5 minutes later. :cool1::cool1::cool1: Only thing left is to get MNSSHP tickets.

This our third year staying CL and each time we have gotten all our adrs at or close to the times we requested . Just putting that out there for those who worry about letting go and letting ipo handle their adrs. The only thing we had a slight problem with the 1st year was the wde and they called and emailed to ask me for an alternate time so they could book it.

Now we just have to wait 180 days until our trip. darn it.

Does anyone know how much the Illuminations cruise costs? We are a family of 5, 2 adults, 2 Disney "adults" (13 and 10) and one child (6). How long does it last? Does it only run on certain nights? TIA!

Thanks for the information.

BC IPO was able to get the Illuminations cruise for us, on the exact date we asked for!

We have reserved the Illuminations cruise through IPO on several occasions. Have not had a problem with booking.

Thanks! I was ok with sending them my ADR's, but I feel good sending them the Illuminations request also.

Now we are looking for 2 more people to fill the boat on an Illuminations Cruise Wed 10/26, cost would be ~$40/person and that includes tip for the driver!

I just wanted to say how excited I am for my August trip. AND I got an email from Grand Floridian IPO seeing if there was anything else they could help with. I'm all set so far, but it is nice that they are following up AGAIN to offer their assistance:cloud9: This is my second email in the last 2 weeks.

It really gets you in the mood to hear from the IPO, doesn't it? I had to contact the BC IPO myself because they didn't initiate contact. I'm glad the GF IPO has been so attentive:).

Have you been dealing with Marijane? She works at the GF/CR IPO and she is very attentive and sweet.

So, there really isn't a "need" to buy a refillable mug if you are staying CL, right? Are the same drinks available in the club as in the cafeteria's? Although-I do kind of like to have a mug, but if drinks are always available, I could pick out a mug I love somewhere in the parks.

We leave a month from today-I just cannot wait to go!

:wave2: IDK, I think it has been different people. And the first person never signed her name to the emails. I say her, only as an assumption. Because even the wording in the email was sweet and upbeat. The most recent email was more formal, what else can we help you with type. I was surprised, because I received an email confirming all our ADRs and info about the Skidoo boats, etc. already. So this email made me realize IT'S COMING UP  I am obsessing multiple times a day over a trip that's 4 1/2 months away:rotfl: Are you still booked at BC ;)?

Actually the lounges don't always have the same drinks at the counter service locations of the resorts. For example at the Contemporary their lounge offers Sprite Zero and it's not available at the Contempo Cafe with the mugs. At the Boardwalk Inn their lounge offers Ginger Aile and none of their locations where you can get refills with the mug offers it.
