They are bigger than the garden suites?! REALLY! I've never stayed in a deluxe room so I had no clue I just would have thought the garden suites were bigger as the one we stayed in was HUGE! They must be humongous! We thought the garden suite was like a small apartment. (We had one of the ones that is entirely seperated and not a loft though.)

The garden suite draw back is that it is no where near the Club lounge though.
For our December 2010 Club Level stay at the Boardwalk Inn we had originally reserved the Garden Suite. However after we got a tour of one in August 2010 we didn't like it because of it's size and the fact it's so far away from the lounge. So after seeing it we then switched our reservation to their Standard Club Level Room.

That is great to know. I loved the set up of the garden suite but I didn't like the location at all. It was a workout to get up to the lounge so we didn't use it as much as I would have liked to. We did enjoy the extra space though!

Gearing up for my first stay at BWI CL this December! I sent out an email to the IPO with a few general questions, and in their response they mentioned that the lounge was open 24 hours for refreshments. Is this a new change for the Innkeeper's Club or was this CM mistaken?

As of September 2011 the Innkeepers Club Lounge is opened from 6:30 AM - 10:00 PM.

I emailed the IPO back to ask if they were mistaken about the lounge hours, and this was their response:

"The lounge is open 24 hours, but closes at certain times to be cleaned and re-set up for either breakfast, lunch snacks or Dinner time, Then after 10:30pm there is a limited amount. soda, water, coffee, and limited light snacks. Please let us know how we may assist you further. Thank You"

If anyone is staying there soon let us know if things have changed!

Well I can tell you the Boardwalk Inn only has a total of 10 Deluxe Rooms and once they are sold out chances are they don't become available. Plus those are a lot bigger then their Garden Suites and less expensive.
Actually, the BWI's Deluxe rooms are smaller than the Garden Suites:

Deluxe Room: 644 SF

Garden Suites: 915 SF - 1100 SF

Regular Room: 434 SF

That sounds great:thumbsup2. Maybe when they added the hard boiled eggs at breakfast, they expanded to a 24-hour lounge!

Well it looks like we will both be there around the same time, so I guess we can find out ourselves in person.

Well today marks one more month until I am back at the Boardwalk Inn for my next Club Level stay, so like my three previous ones I am very much looking forward to it and seeing all their great Club Level Cast Members.

Well the Garden Suite we actually got a tour of didn't seem that big compared to their Deluxe Room, so I guess some are different sizes and I think they also have different occupancy numbers in terms of how many guests can stay in one.

That's exciting! I feel like you were just there - but I bet you don't!

Ineresting....I nkow when we stayed at BC the lounge closed comletely at night. They put coffee outside the lounge at 6:30am, then the lounge opened half an hour later - I think.

At CR, they put away nealry everything, but the lounge remains open in effect. They used to not have any soda out, but this year (or late 2010) they added a drinks cooler. If it ran out, it ran out - but most nights it was stocked up at lounge close. the only after hours food was apples, oranges, and bananas - until/if those ran out. Still the drinks cooler was a great addition!

I can't don't recall what late night at BWI looked like. If it was completely closed or not. I think maybe it was closed when we were there in 2010. Being able to sit inthe lounge at CR after hours is a big plus, IMO. It was the biggest downside to BC.

It is fun to just look out at a quiet MK from the CR lounge late at night....

Does anybody know which way the Sugar Loaf GF goes? Does it lock up totally at night or stay partly open like CR?

Honestly it feels like time has gone by very fast since we got home from WDW this past September. However that's a good thing since it means getting back there so soon.

I must admit, I am very jealous about the many times a yr. you and your family get back to WDW!! And your length of trips are always 2 weeks long!! you lucky duck! How I wish I could afford to visit more frequently!!! I am thankful, however, that I have been fortunate enough to visit every 18 months or so since Jan 2008..... Enjoy, I am so looking forward to your review when you get back, although I am sure it will be an amazing one!!! :lovestruc

Well like I said before as of September 2011 the Innkeepers Club Level lounge at the Boardwalk Inn closed it's doors at 10:00 PM, so it now staying open 24 hours is a recent change.

I always say part of the fun is the countdown to your next WDW vacation, so that's something you can keep doing and before you know it then your time will eventually start.

The SL lounge is basically located in the center of the SL building (lobby), right when you walk in. You could sit in there any time of day or night. I don't remember whether or not there was a cooler filled with drinks that was accessible 24/7, but RPC has a fridge always stocked with pop (and I think fruit was always out), so I'm thinking SL has the same. We didn't spend alot of time in the lounge and I didn't pay too much attention when we walked through late at night so I'm not 100% certain as to what (if anything) is left out after the official "closing", but the sitting area of the lounge itself is accessible anytime, even if there aren't any offerings out :).
