I was just able to book CL at WL for a crazy good AP discount!!! I am super duper excited.

Is there a map of where the CL rooms are located at WL or is it any random room on the 7th floor?

Congrats on the great rate......we loved WL CL :goodvibes. The CL rooms are all on the 7th floor, with the exception of the deluxe rooms which are on various floors ;).

Hey everyone! So we're going to book a garden view CL room at BC in February, and just wondering what are some good requests to add to our ressie?

Just for fun I was looking at the Annual Pass website to see if their was more rooms avaiable with the AP discount we are getting next month and to my surprise from 12/08/11 - 12/22/11 the only room category available at the Boardwalk Inn was their Standard View, with no Club Level rooms available. When I checked the Canadian Room Only discount I got the exact same results that the Annual Pass rates showed me. Finally I then checked the rack rates since they can have different results compared to the various room only discounts and they also only had their Standard View available without any Club Level rooms available.

CRRF4L, it's possible that other room categories are available for those dates (not necessarily w/AP discount, of course), but just not continuously. If, for example, there is just one night during that two-week span for which water-view rooms are sold out, the system will behave as if that category has no availability if you attempt to secure a single reservation for the entire two-week duration. If you instead enter the dates one by one, you can get a better sense of availability night to night. Hope that helps.

I guess that's possible, however it was also sold out with the Canadian Room Only discount and the rack rate. So it wasn't just the Annual Pass rates that were sold out.

What I'm seeing is that 12/7 and 12/8 are completely sold out in all categories, but that all subsequent dates during those two weeks have a number of room categories available. Those first two dates are the limiting factor (until the cancellation shuffle, that is). But I am not certain whether an AP discount can be applied on any of the dates.

This past August I was able to get a Standard Club Level Room at the Boardwalk Inn from 12/08/11 - 12/22/11 with a 40% AP discount, so the discount was able to be applied when the reservation was made. It's only today when I looked for fun on the AP site and saw it was sold out for our dates.

I booked our 25th anniversary trip yesterday:goodvibes (All with the military 40% off;))

~3 nights WL/CL
~5 nights BWI/CL
~5 nights Deluxe Room GF/RPC

I'm wondering which IPO will be the first to contact me:confused3. I know it's a long way off, so there's no rush, but I was just curious:scratchin

Well this past August after we made our December 2011 BWI/CL reservation while we were already at WDW, we got an e-mail from the BWI IPO 2 or 3 days later.

Another guessing game--my bet is on BWI with GF coming in dead last. :lmao:

Well, they're all in contention for last place now. I booked Friday and still haven't heard from any. I did get the Disney Destinations confirmations within a couple of hours, but I still can't pull them up in My Disney Vacation by putting in the confirmation numbers:sad2:

When you try putting the confirmation numbers on their website are you getting a message saying their system is down? That happened to me when I tried adding our December 2011 reservation, so I created a new account and was able to add it. However a couple of days ago when I logged on with the account I previously used since all my Annual Pass information is on there, it listed our 2011 reservation.

My money's on GF coming in first. I was just telling my husband that Disney seems to really push their flagship -- we're booked for BWI CL in a few weeks and GF in February, and I've gotten easily twice the correspondence from Disney on th GF trip. I even got a follow-up email from GF IPO today, stating that I was now 90 days out and they wanted to make sure they knew our arrival time and any room requests. With BWI, I got the initial email, and that's it.

A couple of weeks ago we got a 2nd e-mail from the BWI IPO where they noticed we didn't make any ADR's. Well since we aren't the type that knows where we want to eat 180 days out making them is not our thing, plus since we have our car with us we can eat anywhere in Orlando when were not in the lounge. In the 1st e-mail we got all I did was fill out what time we would be arriving, how we are getting there and etc.

We're staying in October at BWI, wondering when I will get the welcome email from IPO? My ADR day doesn't open up until April 2nd...wondering if I should trust them with my ADRs to get the times and restaurants I want, or if I should just do it online on my own....it's hard giving up control sometimes!

I'm the same way, about wanting to stay in control. But I decided to give the IPO a shot this trip, really just out of curiosity. It worked out perfectly. By the time I woke up & logged onto my computer on the day my ADRs opened up, they had everything booked for me & had sent me confirmation emails. Sure beats getting up at 6am to try and do it all myself. :thumbsup2

(That said, seems like there's been a much greater availability of ADRs lately. IDK whether I'm just looking at less popular options or what, but we actually canceled our existing ADRs for our upcoming trip to have great flexibility & I've been casually checking to see what might be open for a last-minute ADR or walk-up. Turns out, there's a LOT open. :confused3)

We booked in July (just inside of 180 days) for our December trip to BWI CL. I made ADRs myself the day CP packages opened up. We didn't get the IPO email until October. I prefer to make our ADRs though, so it wasn't a big deal to me.
