Can anyone shed some light on how the beer offerings work at BWI IKC? We don't get Yuengling where we live, so it's actually quite a treat to savor the flavor, if you know what I mean. I'm not really sure if it's available or what times. In some other posts, I've seen that the lounges have a beer fridge. What's the setup like at BWI?

I would also like to know the answer to this question.

I can't help with beer offerings, i.e. what make/type, but each evening they had beer out on the side, I did also witness a lady having a bottle in the afternoon, however, when she asked for a second bottle the CM made a polite excuse and suggested she come back in the evening.

Thanks, I kind of guessed that they wouldn't have it in the afternoons, which is fine by me as we'll be in the parks. I can't seem to find the time frame for beer availability in any of the CL info. I'm hoping that I can grab a bottle or few during 5-9 hours.

Beer & wine are available 5-7pm; Cordials 8-10pm (but you can always get a beer or 2 after 7pm ;))

They have the beer out in ice from 5-7pm. They did have Yuengling, Heineken, Sam Adams and some other domestic-probably Bud. I did ask for one one night-I think it was after 7pm.

I also asked for a Coke one morning before they put them out and they happily got it for me.

Last summer at Poly CL I was getting beers all afternoon and evening. They had a great wheat beer from Hawaii. Can't remember the name right now, but it was tasty.

During our Club Level stay at the Polynesian in December 2007 I was able to get a bottle of Heineken after 8:00 PM. In fact I even saw other guests asking for some during afternoon before 5:00 PM.

Thanks for letting us know that.

And the Poly always asked if I need a plastic cup for the pool. When I asked for a plastic cup at BWI CL they gave me a small styrofoam coffee cup.

Please report back after your trip and let us know how your experience was. My trip feels so far away that I have to live vicariously through others :guilty: ;)

Cool!

Does anyone know if the BC CL offers beers?

Yes they definitely do! Dh always had a beer or a glass of wine before we go out do dinner.

When we did our Grand Gathering the oldest of our kids (over 21!) thought they hit the jackpot with the free beer at CL!

I have always written a trip report on each of my trips to WDW, so after I come back from the Contemporary and Boardwalk I plan to do the same thing.

Hi!

I have a few questions regarding the Grand Floridian Resort Outerbuilding Club Level :) We've never stayed at the Grand Floridian or at a concierge room level so I am a bit overloaded with questions. I guess my main question is:

In the Sugarloaf Buildings are there dormer rooms as well as standard rooms? If there are dormer rooms - are there balconies?

Thank you!!!

Can't say about Sugarloaf but non CL rooms there have balconies in the dormer rooms. I will say that it's an enclosed one like at WL though.

There are dormer rooms in Sugar Loaf. But the balconies are solid, not railing style so there isn't much of a view when you are sitting.
