If you're sailing Concierge, do they help with seating for the shows? We usually have to line up for the mad rush 45 minutes before the show and wasn't sure if they help or not?

No. Everyone onboard is in the same boat (ha, ha) pertaining to getting seats in the theater.

It does not hurt to ask. We have sailed Concierge three times but never asked. They aim to please. They do give you complimentary popcorn from the lounge to take with you and of course you can bring your complimentary drinks as well.

I have seen them reserve seats for different families before but I think this was guest recovery or maybe family of a performer.

No, they don't. I'm surprised that they haven't added that perk. A few other cruise lines do have special seating or concierge escort to shows and it is a very nice and much appreciated perk.

Hmm--we've done 3 Fantasy Cruises now and done ALL the shows on all the nights each time.

Never really seen any sort of a "line" and never seen the theater completely full.

Should add that we eat late so we do the early show. And since all seats have a good view we really care less where we sit.

So I guess I'm saying that even tho we do Concierge I never even gave such a perk a second thought.

But it appears that some others have!!

I remember reading this in a trip report once.

I've also read that as a newly Gold Castaway Club member I can expect to have my room cleaned before the Silvers and newbies, but that again is from a TR.

Yeah, I doubt that's correct. It would really mess up the room hosts cleaning schedule if they had to jump around to do specific rooms "first". I'm pretty sure they just keep an eye on the rooms they're responsible for and clean up as they are empty.

What you do if you have money and don't want to wait early for the doors to open to get the seat you want. Just pull out a hundred and say I think you are in my seat. Most people will gladly let you have the seat you want.
