We haven't use it yet, but we love the idea of the express bus. Mostly because it save steps for us. The hike form AK buses to safari must be 10 -12 miles (at least it feels that way).

Right now we are booked at 10 days at BLT in Dec. We usually do a split stay and go to the parks closest to the resort. Now I'm thinking of staying at BLT and using the express bus would be almost as good. Would we be able to bus back to MK even if a party has started? I'm thinking not, and there is a party at MK 5 out of the 9 nights. Our hopping days would have to be planned according. I could see us taking a slow morning, going into MK, hop over to whatever park and be ready to hop back and go back to resort around 7 or 8. With going thru MK, we would have the monorail, enter the park, get wheelchair, use express bus and then reverse. I think this method entails less walking for DH than dropping off wheelchair and walking for buses.

DH doesn't want to get a wheel chair for full time use at disney, because of dealing with transportation. He can walk, grocery store type distance, just not disney distance.

The MK Express bus stop is back deep in Tomorrowland.

The hike to BLT from there (or, even if you take the monorail to CR, then walk to BLT) is a good distance.

So, even if you could take the Express Bus to the party, you'd not be saving much walking.

I would just take the buss back to the hotel from what ever park you are at last ( I can not see disney letting you in to the MK with out a party ticket anyways. and like Robo said the E buss will not save you any walking if you go to the MK and just want to head back to your room at BLT

you are not able to take park wheelchairs from park to park so you will have a hike from drop off point to wheelchair rental at least at MK from what I have heard you will have to walk to front of park. I am guessing express bus will stop when party stops unless you have party ticket. even if you get lucky and can ride bus you will not be able to get wheelchair

They have Wheel chair and stroller at the drop off for the express buss drop off. I was on and the CM had a stroller waiting at the buss for a family that had one at the other park

The hike is dependent on what park you are at...At Epcot, the regular busses are one heck of a hike, although for CR you can take the monorail. We used the service to get from Epcot back to WL via MK. The walk out of Tomorrowland was fine, especially since we could stop and sit. Most of the normal bus stops have no seats, so you hike out to them then stand for 20 minutes. So instead we walked past Buzz (the bus drop off is right between Buzz and CoP), strolled down Main Street, and caught the boat back to WL. It was quite a bit more relaxing than hiking out to the busses at Epcot.

If the MK Express bus isn't running, take the Express bus between HS and Epcot. You will be closer to the monorail to get back to CR.

And in regards to your Party question, the Express bus doesn't travel to a park after the destination park has closed to all regular guests.
