Okay computer experts, whats the problem here....
I type my words and not all the letters that i hit, show up....
I just started noticing today, and I don't type near as fast as DW...

Do you have your keyboard speed at a low rate (control panel)? Do you have multiple pics downloading, playing a game with lots of graphics while you're typing?

I'm doing the same thing as always.... unless it is dw's screensaver, but i turned that off and that didn't work...

Did you try rebooting after the screen saver was turned off? Cleaning it might help, too. Even if you don't have any compressed air on hand right now, you can turn it upside down and shake it. If you're like me, you'll be able to make a whole cookie with the crumbs that fall out. :)

Rebooting usually resolves the issue.

If that doesn't, I would like some more information:

What Operating System are you using?
Is this a USB or a PS/2 keyboard? (Or Gasp --- Serial:eek:)
What processor speed, how much memory, etc.

Where do I find this information??

I have Norton Systemworks 2001..

Do i Have to right clik c:????

DW loaded soft software forthe screensaver called ofotonow, wonder if it could be that???

To find the type of keyboard you have, go to control panel, find keyboard, then hit properties.

Click on system to see the general info you have on your system. I thought at one time you said you had ME as your OS.

I know about the ME...but unsure of the keyboard...
I'll have to check when I get home...
Processor is 1.2 ghz....30 gig of memory...

Ran a defrag but haven't used since....I'll see how it runs later tonight.

To tell the type of keyboard, just look at the back of your PC. If where it plugs in is round and approx 1/4 " in diameter, that's PS/2. If it is a small little rectangle, that's USB. If it is round and 1/2" in diameter, that's serial.

more than likely since you have Windows ME, you have either PS/2 or USB. Serial was more for when Pentium just came out (1994 - Was one of the last years for this)

And I know you don't have 30GB of memory (maybe hard Drive Space) That would cost you over $10K for the memory alone.

To find out how much memory you have, Right click on the "My Computer" Icon on your desktop and then click on properties. At the bottom it will say ###,###,### KB RAM

128 MB RAM..
I have USB for my keyboard..

seems to be doing a little better since I defragged and uninstalled what dw had on here..
