COMPLETELY OT - How I Met Your Mother

Anyone watch this show? I caught in on vacation one time last year and I am COMPLETELY HOOKED! I think it is arguably the funniest show on TV - to me it is a more intelligent version of Friends. I love all the characters and I have been catching up on the reruns on Lifetime. Am I the only DISer into this show?

No! I love it too! I actually only started watching it recently - my friends love it, and I was bored one night, so I tuned in. I thought it was hilarious! I've since gone back and watched all the past episodes. I agree that it's one of the funniest shows on TV right now.

HIMYM comes in 2nd, right behind Big Bang Theory, in the list of best comedies on TV I've watched it from the beginning & can't wait to find out who the mom is.

That's our absolute favorite show, although we do love Big Band as well (also 30 Rock).
When the show first started Shanan and I didn't think we could get over Doogie being on the show. It didn't take long before we ever remembered he was Doogie! He's my favorite, but Shanan favors Marsmellow and Lily Pad.

HIMYM is good....but Big Bang Theory is the funniest show on TV.

"Rock Paper Lizard Spock" is up there with some of the funniest bits ever....as is the episode when Penny gives Sheldon his Christmas present.

Big Bang Theory is just too nerdtacular for me. I can only watch about five minutes of it at a time before I smack myself in the head and turn it off. Although I do like a lot of the stuff the geeks on the show love. hahaha Surprisingly, my father in law who is a Colonel in the Air Force loves it. hahaha

We split our guts when he brought out all those bath/spa products. We're such sci-fi/science/NASA geeks that we get all the jokes (and the T-shirts).

I love HIMYM....I've been catching up with season 1 and 2 on DVD on the treadmill. I've caught Big Bang a few times and it's hilarious. Just bought season 1 for treadmill watching. Need something to keep my mind off the clock on the treadmill.

BBT is my favorite also- Loved when Sheldon got drunk and was singing show tunes at Penny's party. We have watched How I Met your Mother since the beginning. They both are the funniest shows on TV.

I LOVE How I Met Your Mother, One of my favorites has to be Barney's dirty Christmas Carols, or the episode where they looked for the perfect burger.

I think Big Bang Theory has to be my favorite though. Tonight's episode was a hoot!

HIMYM- you have to love Barney. Neil Patrick Harris is awesome. His timing is perfect. I loved the 'Slapgiving' from a couple seasons back..

The Big Bang Theory is the funniest show. Sheldon is the best. I loved the Christmas Present Episode. i could not stop laughing.

I LOVE How I Met Your Mother. I have watched since the Pilot and own every season available on DVD- and watch them regularly!!! It is my total favorite show!

And I agree with all who say Big Bang Theory is hilarious! It is another of my "Must not miss" shows! I HAVE to watch it and HIMYM on Monday nights or my week is not complete!
