That morning, we woke up a bit late. That's what we like about vacations. There's no rush, we don't have to set the alarm clock. MMMMM Bliss!

We woke up around 9am. It was up to me do decide where we were to go. I was hesitating between the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. But my sweet tooth told me we should go to Epcot.

So we slowly got ready, and by 11am, we were ready to go.

As usual, we took the bus. I have to say that during this trip, we were pretty lucky with buses. We didn't have to wait too long for them to come by.

We started our journey into Epcot at Future World. We were not really planning on doing anything in that area. After all, we were hungry! Though we did take the time to make a pit stop at Club Cool. It was crowded, and we were both getting impatient from being hungry.

So we started walking into the World Showcase. We went to see the new Canada movie. This was our second time seeing it. And we loved it, once again! Martin Short is a hoot! I love that guy. So proud he is Canadian. Plus that movie makes us look less like farmers hehehe After all, most of us stay in cities hehe

Once we were out, we grabbed a drink, and started walking towards the France Pavillion.

Once there, we stopped at the bakery. As always, this is our main reason to go to Epcot hehehe I got a chocolate cake (yummy!!!!) and my mom got a chocolate mousse. Let's say, we love our sweets. Oh and I got an iced cappucino. They love that we speak French, but always figure out where we are from our accent.

Next, we walked towards the Japan Pavillion. My store!! I love anime and mangas so much. This time I bought a few Hello Kitty items for work mostly. And we waited to see Miyuki. As we were waiting, Hell broke loose. It started raining sooooooooooooooo bad! It was pouring. So people were cramming up. I was in the front row, and so close to her that I could almost tell you if she clipped her nose hair hehehe I love her!! I was not picked. There were a lot of kids around me. I was a bit sad about that. But what can I do?

Here are a few pics of her.

CONT..

After another quick stop in the store to get my cousin some Pokemon cards, we noticed that the rain wasn't as heavy, so we decided to walk. Yep, you guessed it, we had forgotten our ponchos at the hotel!

So by dinner time, we were at the American Pavillion. We had a bit of junk food, and I decided to go get us a funnel cake. I had tasted one before, but my mom had not. I knew she'd love it. So we ate our way through the funnel cake, as we noticed that the rain had started again.

By that time, we started to have enough of the rain. The humidity and rain had made us grumpy. So as soon as we noticed that the rain had stopped a bit, we started walking/running towards the exit. As soon as we reached the fountain in Future World, it was pouring once again. So we ran inside Mouse Gears.

We decided that it was the perfect time to do a little bit of shopping. Well...maybe a lot hehehe We finished our shopping, and even though it was still raining a bit, we wanted to leave. We managed to reach the bus stop without being too wet. But we did wait a bit for the bus this time. Weird how we didn't have to wait too long to leave the hotel. But once we were ready to get back, we had to wait a while.

We got onto the bus, rode back, and ran to our rooms as it was still pouring. If I remember correctly, it rained all evening. We were full and happy to be dry. So we spent the evening watching movies, and relaxing.

I've seen videos of the Candy making lady on You Tube and she looks really cool! We're going to have to stop and watch next time!!

I LOVE sweets, too! Gets me in trouble a lot....:rotfl2: but I still love them!!! :) Great update! Sorry you guys got all wet!

Yum! Chocolate mousse, chocolate cake, and funnel cake. Sounds like my kind of day!

I haven't ever watched the Canada movie, but now I want to see it.

I'm sorry about the rain! That's never fun.

Main Street Bakery

What we didn't like:How humid and uncomfortable it was.

Favorite Attraction:Big Thunder

Souvenirs we got: Cotton candy

Memorable notes:Meeting the mayor. hehehe

That morning I woke up early. I was so ready for my park: The Magic Kingdom. I love all the imagination... and as I get older... I do want to be treated like a princess....hehe At least on vacation. Let's say that my job is not always THAT rewarding. People never tell you if you do a good job. They'd rather scream at you. Anywayz, that's not the subject here.

I decided to go to the MK for the opening. And my mom decided she'd meet up with me in front of "The Chapeau" at around 11am or 12. Don't remember exactly.

So I got ready, and was off to the Magic Kingdom. I didn't get to watch the opening ceremony since the bus took a bit longer to get there.

So I walked in, and let myself soak in the magic.

I saw the characters greeting people, and decided to skip it.

On my way down Main Street, I met this guy.

"Hey there little redhead", he said.

He was so sweet.

Then I decided to take a few pictures of the windows. Some people were looking at me like:"why is she looking up?" lol

Great pictures! I have never bothered to look up very closely on Main Street. I guess we're always rushing to get to other things! That's very cool that you saw the mayor!

I have to admit that I never looked up until I read the imagineers guides.

The mayor was sweet. I was excited to meet him hehehe Like he was a celebrity lol

I LOVE reading the windows!! You caught a few that I haven't seen before! Very cute!! I saw the Mayor in December for the first time....he's really really nice!! :)

CONT...

Let me tell you that I don't understand the people that rush through the park to get to an attraction.

Yep, I was one of them before. But now that I took the time to have a reality check, I realized all that I was missing. You are not the only one who has that idea. So you end up waiting in line a very long time too.

So I now decided to take the time to look around the parks. And soak it all in. And I appreciate it a lot.

I slowly walked to....

I then realized that barely anyone was waiting for the Jungle Cruise. And believe it or not, I had never been there. Yep... NEVER! I decided to go and check it out.

The line went by rather quickly. And I was on my way into the jungle hehehe

I haven't been on the Jungle Cruise since I was little and don't remember it at all! Maybe I'll ride it next time we're there.
