After that, we noticed that the line for the Great Movie Ride wasn't long, so we went in.

I did take a few pics. And before you start screaming at me.. I didn't remember that we couldn't take flash photography, and the guy NEVER said that part. So I am sorry. I didn't take that many. And didn't take any flash photography in rides again

It was now time for our ressie at the Sci-Fi.

We had a very friendly/family like waitress. She was very cute. She said that for this meal we'd be hitchiking since we were seated in the back.

I had a cookies and cream milkshake, my mom had a chocolate milkshake, and we split a cheeseburger. We also had onion rings. Well mostly for me.

While I went to the bathroom, apparently the waitress sat in my place, and looked at the food, and told my mom that we did a good thing splitting since there was still a lot left in our plates. But on a hot day, fries, inion rings, a huge burger and a shake is quite filling.

We did enjoy our meal very much. And we were full even though the waitress thought we didn't eat that much hehehe

We then ventured a bit into the ABC commissary just to check it out. I had read about it on the boards, and decided to check it out for another meal.

I found a few props from my favorite tv show at the moment: LOST

Then, we just basically walked around the park, just looking around. After all, we had to walk off that meal hehe

At around 3, my mom had enough, and went back to the hotel. I wanted to hang out a bit more.

I hung out around the hat awaiting high school musical.

While I waited, I snapped a few pics with my camcorder.

I talked a bit with a little girl beside me. She asked me who my favorite character was, and so on. I really did not mind, but the mom seemed embarrassed. I think she was afraid she was bothering me. But hey, it was hot, and sunny. And I was by myself. I didn't mind.

After that, I decided to hit the Great Movie Ride once again.

Silly me forgot to hit record when the ride started! lol So I knew that I'd have to go back once again. Thankfully, I realised my mistake early on, and didn't have the realization at the end, you know?

Once that was done, I walked around, and decided to get a few pictures in front of the HTH.

Clouds were gathering, and since it was almost 5pm, I decided I should head back to the hotel.

But before I went, I was VERY thirsty. So I stood in line for a frozen coke. The line took about 20 min. Can you believe it? The rain was coming our way, and fast! While in line, a lady was talking to a friend who was at the MK and apparently it was pouring cats and dogs! I really wanted to avoid it.

In the end, I did. It started raining while I was on the bus.

Back at the hotel, we waited for the rain to calm down, got some dinner and came back to the room. It had been a hot day. And the T-storm was not friendly

Those are great pics! I haven't been to Hollywood Studios in a while and your pics make me want to go now. I know Sci-fi gets mixed reviews on the dis, but I enjoy it. The theme is so much fun!

I definitely want to go and take a pic with the umbrella!

Thanks for the great update, I haven't been on the Dis for a few days as I've been having problems at work & haven't felt like posting. I keep meaning to go on the GMR but have never made it so it's a must do for our Sept trip.

We have a deposit on an Old Key West one bedroom villa for July 2009 for 3 weeks.

It's expensive!! But we can save the money, right?

I'm so sorry! This must be an incredibly tough time for you. You made the right decision if he was suffering. I believe he's in a better place now doing whatever it is that he loved to do before he got sick.

This day was pretty uneventful.

We were tired and decided that we needed a day off.

That's what we love about POR. So relax. And during the day, the tour groups were gone.

So we napped. We wrote our postcards and sent them. We read. We watched tv. I swam in the pool. You know, pretty relaxing stuff that we don't always take the time to do at WDW.

I also took this opportunity to buy a few items at the store.

I got plastic cups for my best friend's kids. You know the one with the water and sparkle?

I got her 5 year old son a blue one with Mickey and icons of the parks. And I got the 1 year old a pink Minnie one.

They received the package yesterday and were so happy they walked around with the glass for about 30 min lol

So cute. I actually never saw the baby Soon I hope.

So that day was fun. We were tired and laughed so hard. I am always clumsy and I must have been very clumsy that day lol

Hi PopArtGirl, I just foung your Pre trippie and TR today and am all caught up!

First, let me offer my condolences on the loss of your beloved cat. I hope that the wonderful memories you have will see you through this time. I have lost a few wonderful feline friends myself and can totally relate to your pain.

As for your TR, well, thank you for sharing your great story! You have some wonderful photos and it is nice to hear about a visit that was long and relaxing, without having to cram the parks into four or five days.. I look forward to the rest of the show.
