I read and really enjoyed your last TR of your mother-daughter trip, and then I caught a couple posts from your PTR for this one, so I was psyched to see you've got your TR with Rachel in full swing now! You two are so cute, and totally both princesses. I agree with you - Nemo is my favorite [non-nighttime-spectacular] Disney show, hands down. It's so good. I always get teary. January 27th, 2017 (Part 9)

Scaredy Cats & Disney Trivia
When we arrived at Hollywood Studios, we came out backstage right beside Rockin’ Roller Coaster. Our first order of business was for me to find a bathroom- lol not surprising. I will say though, that all of the places where you enter/exit express transportation are very close to a bathroom. After that, we headed over to Tower of Terror and booked a DAS pass there. The CM told us to come back in about an hour so we just headed back over to RRC and hopped in Single-rider line. The standard wait time was about 70 minutes so we knew we had a little while to wait. We got behind this HUGE dance team of young high school girls and so let’s just say they didn’t make our wait that pleasant.
We also must have gotten in line at a bad time because the SR line was at a standstill for a good 20 minutes. From the time we got in line to the time we got on the ride was about 45-50 minutes. We did see two football players being led around by a guest servies CM through the FP line. The weekend we were there was the weekend of the Pro-Bowl so we actually came across quite a few football players. So let me say, while I will 100% do the single rider line because of the shorter wait times, it is always so awkward riding a roller coaster with a stranger. Anybody else feel the same? Also I should apologize for the lack of pictures from this part bit I was vlogging and it's kind of hard to vlog and take pictures at the same time, haha!

Anyway, after that crazy ride, (which was more fun than I remembered) we headed over to TOT with perfect timing and headed through the FP line. We basically walked right into the dark room that shows you the creepy movie. I love this ride but I think there had been such a long span since I had ridden it, I was on the verge of being absolutely petrified.
But I was determined to ride it so we proceeded into the creepy basement of the Hollywood Tower Hotel and got in the line that snaked left (this is an important detail for later) we waited maybe just another 10 minutes before sitting down in the "elevator". The anticipation to the actual drop had my heart pounding. I think Rachel even put her FitBit back on my wrist to check my heart rate. Oh my gosh, I’m pathetic.

Good news is as soon and the doors opened up and we had that initional drop I was totally fine! Rachel and I both agreed that it was smoother than usual and we both had so much fun! Even if you can't tell from this ride photo, lol!

So, we’ve decided that the left side ride is the smoothest. I dont know if that’s actually true but both times we rode it, it worked for us!
After we hopped off that, we saw some cast memebers who had some pins. The first one we talked to had his pins flipped backwarks so that we couldn't see them. Rachel asked if she could see them and he said he would show us all his pins if we could answer some trivia. He let us pick between Parks trivia or Movie trivia. We chose Parks and he asked “What ride is in every single Disney Park but appears in a different land in each place?” Neither of us had any idea, I finally guessed Tower of Terror and I think Rachel guessed Pirates of the Caribbean but that was wrong. We finally gave up and he told us that the ride is Haunted Mansion. He explained that depending on the culture of the region or country that the park is in, they theme the ride differently which means it gets put in a different land. For example: in China ghosts aren’t seen as scary but instead as ancestors that watch over you so the ride isn’t themed eerily but a happy ride about a silly monkey that lets out evil spirits and is trying to chase them down throughout the ride.

So even though we didn’t quite get that one right I’m still glad he told us that good little nugget of information! But since we kinda failed at that question, he asked us a Disney Movie trivia question that both of us were on top of before he could get it out. He wanted to know that of the band of outlaws in the Fuzzy Duckling in Tangled, what did Vladimir collect? And we were both like CERAMIC UNICORNS.

So, he finally turned his lanyard around. I don’t think I ended up trading for anything but Rachel got a few pins! I absolutely LOVE CM interactions like that. I’m so glad we took the time to talk to him!
After that, we headed down Sunset Boulevard, walking through the shops as we went along because it was starting to get pretty chilly and Rachel had left her jacket in the room! We knew we were going to the outlet shops the next day so she didn't want to buy a $50+ jacket or sweatshirt when she could get one for a fraction of the cost the next day. We didn't find anything just yet but we were trying to brainstorm some kind of idea to eep her warm.

Haha I thought the name of this shop was punny

We were making our way over to Pixar Place!
Ahh! I'm so excited for this movie!

We were going to go and wait in the stand-by for Toy Story Mania but then we found Moana's meeting area so we just booked a DAS for TSM and ran and got in line to meet Moana!

January 27, 2017 (Part 10)

"I'm Not Your Mother- Break Those Plates! "

After scheduling or DAS, we headed into One Man’s Dream to meet Moana!

To get to her meet and greet, you just have to walk all the way through the exhibit.

Her line was about 30 minutes and we just sat down on the floor to wait. I’m not going to lie to you-it was HOT in there. I honestly felt like a sauna! Thankfully the line movies quickly and i’m pretty sure we were meeting her in less than 30 minutes. I really enjoyed the theming of her line and set.

When we got up to Moana she said she was so excited to be meeting princesses!

We got her to make a little video message to send back to my sister and told her that we had been singing songs from her movie the whole day. While she may not have been our favorite character of the trip, it was still exciting to meet her since Rachel and I love Moana so much.

After that, we headed back out to Pixar place and over to TSM! Rachel absolutely loves this ride and I was pretty pumped to ride it too.

We probably waited 15 or 20 minutes and were in our little cart. Now, usually I’m horrible at any kind of target game so I was just expecting for Rachel to beat me at this ride since she loves it so much. WELL
GUESS WHAT: I ACTUALLY BEAT RACHEL. Shocking, I know. And just to take it even further- I HAD BEST IN VEHICLE TOO.

Forget all my previous life achievements, this one beats them all.
I’m sorry, I just seriously never win anything.

If you’re wondering what my score was, I don’t think it was even that exciting but considering my previous track record on this ride, it was pretty good. It was 134,500- so definitely nothing great. But I digress.

As soon as we exited the ride, I grabbed my sweatshirt and put it on because it was just so. Cold. Poor Rachel still didn’t have anything warm to put on so we headed across the park stopping in different shops trying to find something for her. It was already dinner time and both of us were ready to eat. We decided that we wanted Star Wars chicken and Waffles from the Backlot Express. For some reason I thought the restaurant used to be in the back of the park near where Lights, Motor, Action show used to be. I’m guessing it did used to be there but because they’ve closed off all of that back area for construction of Toy Story Land and Star Wars Land. It’s been moved. HOWEVER we didn’t know that so we just walked, and walked, and WALKED until we were back behind Muppetvision 3D.

Side note: Anybody upset they turned Pizza Planent into PizzaRizzo? I mean, I love me some muppets as much as anybody else but Pizza Planent was such a cool idea because when I would watch toy story as a kid, I always dreamed of going there in real life.

Anywayyyy, It was only then that we looked it up on the app and found that it was beside The Indiana Jones Stunt show. It’s all good though, we still found it and we headed inside. There weren’t that many people in there and we didn’t even have to wait in line. The CM that helped us saw Rachel’s birthday button and asked if she wanted to be embarrassed. I said yes and grabbed my camera. He made a huge announcement to the whole restaurant that it was her birthday. I caught it on the vlog if anybody wants to see it.

And everyone told her happy birthday! Then we ordered the Chicken and Waffles to split.

Chicken and Waffles: $11.71 (We split these though so I only paid $5.85)

These were really good, but I wish the waffles weren’t as crispy. To add to the health value of our meal, we ate our cookies that we got from lunch, haha. Actually, those cookies were AMAZING and I wanted another one for the rest of the trip!

After dinner we checked the wait times on the app and decided to go meet Olaf! He only had a 15 minute wait so we were meeting him in no time! I swear his line area smells like summer and sunscreen. It smelled SO good! I was super excited to meet Olaf and I asked him if he could give me some warm hugs because it was so cold outside.

He happily gave me lot’s of hugs and made me do a princess twirl after pointing to my skirt.

Then I got a picture of me in all of my frumpy glory. Enjoy.

Then It was Rachel’s turn! She got a lot of warm hugs from Olaf too.

After reminding him to stay out of the sun, we said goodbye to Olaf and found this wonderful Star Wars picture that I made Rachel take my picture with.

Then we headed to the tables outside Min and Bill’s Dockside Diner.

It was about 45 minutes before the Star Wars Fireworks and we both thought this would be a perfect place to watch them. While I held the table, Rachel went into the shops to buy herself something warm to wear. She came back about 20 minutes later with a beach towel to use as a blanket. I was glad she finally found something because the people around us had hats and gloves on and she was just wearing short sleeves.

Anddd just like that- all the vlogs are live! The Express busses were SO worth it for us! It's such an inexpensive thing to add to your trip and it truly saves you so much time and hassle if you like to bounce from park-to-park often.

January 27, 2017 (Part 11)

Star Wars Extravaganza!
When the Star Wars fireworks began, we had a pretty good veiw, but after about 5 minutes people who were just walking through the park would stop to watch without looking behind them to see if they were blocking the view of people sitting behind them.
So we probably didn’t have the greatest spot since we didn’t get to see much of what was being projected onto to the Chinese Theater. Nonetheless, I still REALLY enjoyed this show- I’m sorry there aren’t any pictures, I just loved it so much after I got a little clip for the vlog I just wanted to soak it all in.
Even if you don't know anything about Star Wars, you’re going to love this show, it’s just spectacular. After that, Rachel had booked us another FP for TSM so we ran over there really quick to jump on! The park had EMH that night but the standard hours were about to be over which meant Fastpasses were about to expire.

We got through the line and were shooting until our arms turned to jelly! Rachel beat me this time but my arm was so tired- actually, I was tired everywhere- that I’m not surprised.

After that, it was time to do something that I had been waiting a very, very, long time to do: VISIT STAR WARS LAUNCH BAY!!!!! Everything had a wait of 10 minutes so we ran right up to the entrance.
We were momentarily stopped by First Order stormtroopers who had to check the suspicious crowns on our heads. Thankfully, we didn’t present any danger to the First Order so we were alowed to go on into the Launch Bay.

The wait times for chewie and Kylo were actually closer to 20 minutes- unlike what it said outside. But that’s still not bad so we headed into Chewbacca’s line first. Now, I’m sure you are well aware that I’m literally Star Wars obsessed. Seriously. So you can just imagine the level of excitement to meet Chewbacca who is like everyone’s dream sidekick. I was literally this emoji

I loved looking at all the lightsabers while we waited too.

When we got in the room to see Chewie and it was our turn, the Character attendant turned to us and guestered for us to go up there. Rachel and I had developed a pretty good system where one would go up and the other would take pictures and then we would switch. So I headed up to Cheiwe and Rachel was hanging back to take pictures. The Character attendant turned toward her and was like “go on up there” and Rachel said “oh, we’re just going to go up individually” and the Character Attendant said in a very annoyed tone “We’re going to do group pictures first.” We were both like “...okay”.
I’m sure the guy had just had a rough night but I’ve never had a character attendant talk like that to us before.

Anyway, we took the picture then Rachel went back and got the camera and I just basically freaked put over Cheiwe.

I did calm down enough to get a normal picture, lol
I will say though, meeting him creeped me put a little since he can’t make any nosie so I didn’t know what to say.

Rachel also agrees that meeting Cheiwe is creepy so she just went up and got a picture and then we left before the character attendant got upset with us again.

As soon as we came out of the line, we just hopped on over to Kylo’s line and waited about 10-20 minutes. They have TV’s with Star Wars trivia playing so we were trying to guess that to pass the time. As soon as I could see him meeting other guests I realized how scared I was to meet him. Rachel wanted me to show him my ParkBound button but I was refusing because I didn't want him to flip out.

If you don't get it, the button is a reference to an SNL bit where Kylo Ren goes "Undercover Boss" on the Death Star. Throughout the skit he's trying to talk up Kylo Ren to a bunch of stormtroopers and says "A buddy of mine says Kylo Ren has an 8-pack."

I mean, look at that. Terrifying.

I went up first trying to draw attention away from my button and was accused about knowing about the location of a rebel droid. I was like "......"

After establishing I didn't know any information about a droid, he let me go and I let Rachel have a turn. I think she took it a little better than me.

I thought I had escaped unscathed when the Character attendant (who looked like a CP) Pointed to my button and said "Hey Kylo, what to you think of that?". He just came really close and shook his hand and then said "We don't talk about him.". Both us us gave a nervous laugh and basically ran away .
