LM3K - I stink at paper clips. I bought a bunch thinking I would do something with them to make them cool. Uhm, yup, they are in a cabinet somewhere. But I've seen some really different ones. Ones that remind me of a bookmark with a die cut or huge flower on the end, ones that have cute dangle items that look like jewelry and ones that have words on one side. I, however, cannot make any such item and cannot help you with the construction process.

Mardenz has a paper piecing of Ursula and of Flotsam/Jetsam. Either one would be cool.

Yeah...those were the piecings I was thinking of...I just like do the clips better...so I was thinking that's what I would try, but couldn't think of what to put on them to be Ursula-like....so I will probably be going the piecing route!! LOL I know exactly what it will look like with that!! (Since the lovely Mardenz has done the work for me!! )

Did you get the ABC rolodex swap? Look my U one. I still have some of those seashell dangles. They are a pain to work with because they are not individually tied, but I would be happy to send you my left overs. I also have see through colored plastic beads that could be threaded and dangled also.

I did...I had thought about the seashell route, but wasn't sure...I will think on it. Thanks, Ann!! The other thing I was thinking about for the clips was doing black roses out of black glitter paper?? Am I thinking correctly? It's been a while since I saw The Little Mermaid and we don't own that one. I don't know....I hate it when I start thinking of something different. My original plan was to do the piecing and I should just stick to that...this dumb "maybe I should..." takes up too much valuable time!

I think I may think on it a little more...I have my W to do...so when that's done, I'll make a final decision. LOL Hopefully I am satisfied!!! I think a piecing will be the best maybe for everyone else.

i love love love the hat! i'm not in this swap but i like to look at all the great workd everyone makes!
the teapot on the ride is pink with those flowers on it. it matches perfect. i think so anyways....
not that i'm getting one. just saying.....

we've never seen him for a meet and greet. just in the parades.

we've also NEVER done the ride. i can't do spinning rides! makes me puke!!!

I love the tea cup goodies! it one of our fav rides.....Jim wouldn't go on it either due to the pukey thing..but Megan and I get it spinning as fast as we can!

Okay, I made a teapot instead. Any suggestions on how to embellish it?

I added the ribbon to the mats (it's a sheer green), and made the T a bit bigger. I'm going into production mode now, so speak up now!

Cut the top part of the teapot out of the sparkle paper. And maybe ink the edges of the main body with a metallic ink?

how about one of those flowery stars like on the paper pop dotted on the pot?? like how it looks on the ride..... maybe? just thinking here....

Sparkle like glittah (imagine Ted Kennedy saying glitter - I'm punchy)? That's hard to write on.

I'm sure I do. If not, I can make a cut in SCAL. Maybe I can put one on the handle, so it isn't in the way of the writing space.
