Companies with Great Customer Service

Safelite. I've had to call them twice, once at my office and once at home. They were there that day, always prepared, always when they said they would be and always do a good job. Heck at home it was cold and rainy and we offered to bring the car in the garage for the guy to work on and he said no thanks because he didn't want to get any glass in the garage in case any shattered.
Safelite has really got their system down. But they are the most expensive glass company by about $100 for a new windshield. Andt hey quoted me $150 for a chip repair. The locally owned glass shops only want $60 to $75.

My Toyota dealership - they’re the best!

Zappos
Shark (the vacuum company)
Chase Credit Cards
Target
Costco
Amazon (they make returns SO easy)

I also recently had a great experience with Zenni. I had ordered some glasses that needed to be exchanged - very easy!

Costco will take care of you for anything, I mean anything. Someone also mentioned Weber grills, never thought I'd ever need any service on a grill, but they treated me like a king for my recent needs.

Brooks running shoes!! I purchased a new pair of shoes a couple of months ago. Less than two weeks after purchasing them our new puppy chewed the plastic tips off the laces. I emailed them to ask about buying some new laces in the proper color. They responded & said they don’t have specific colored laces to purchase. And due to supply chain issues they’re not sure when they’d have white ones available for purchase either. So, they sent me a whole new pair of shoes and asked for some pics of our puppy!! I will be a customer for life!

Another vote for Chewy here. They have a warehouse near us, so our orders always come the next day. A while back our box showed delivered, but we didn't have it. I called and they sent another order out immediately. The next day a neighbor a few doors down brought the original order to our house because it had gotten delivered with their Chewy order. I called back to pay for the replacement order they had sent out because it was stuff we would use anyway - the person on the phone assured me that there was no need to pay for the replacement order and enjoy the extra cat food.

Fidelity Investments. I'm always talking to a human within 2 minutes and they always answer my questions correctly, or handle the transaction properly the first time.

Agreed. I assume though when you call you like me get the customer service reps reserved for the high net worth clients. My daughter gets the regular reps who are friendly but not as efficient.

I don't know. I don't think I'm calling any special number like I do with American Airlines. Whatever...it sure works well.

I agree. I haven't bought much at their stores as I'm not near enough to any of them. I never even had a membership with them.

But, last year, I needed a new laptop. Someone on a DIS thread mentioned look into Costco. :thumbsup2 I found my perfect laptop with a DVD player AND an HDMI port. Costco had the only model with both those features. Right before Christmas 2020 it was $300 off. :cheer2:

I ordered online. Later in the day I read the order confirmation from Costco, and it was being sent to a totally wrong address. :faint: :badpc:

I call customer service, and the guy tried to get UPS to change the address the package was going to. I tried it also with UPS. Not happening. :headache: I had to wait until the package was returned to Costco after failing delivery, and my credit card was credited back, then order again. The customer service rep said, it's not a problem. They will still sell me the laptop at the sale price of $300 off. He gave me a reference number that would be in my file. :thumbsup2

The next problem was, by the time the laptop made it back to Costco and the funds were credited back to my card, it was 3 weeks later. And the website never had the same model laptop again, even though I checked every week for months.

Finally, 7 months later, there it was again! I called customer service. (I thought for sure that they'd say something like too many months had passed to give the sale price.)
But, after the rep cleared it with her supervisor, I got my laptop, at the sale price, as promised. ❤ :woohoo:

Weber grill - I had a 8 year old grill almost completely rebuilt. They replaced the firebox under warranty and I bought nearly everything else. they were very helpful and even threw in some of the items!

that's one of the disadvantages of living in a smallish town, the local glass company (only 1) won't come to your office or your home to replace a car windshield. In both cases for me, I needed a new windshield because a rock had hit mine and I got the cob web cracks immediately. I didn't feel safe driving home from work with it and to take my car into the local place it would have taken at least a week the second time.

Southwest and Costco. There is nothing better than no flight change fees and 2 free pieces of checked luggage. And I've always had quick satisfaction when calling them. Costco, I've been a member for 20 yrs now and their return policy is second to none, stellar. Love shopping there.
