Companies with Great Customer Service

Between the effects of the pandemic, supply chain issues, labor shortage, and the general way humans interact with each other, it seems that companies in general have lessened their focus on customer service. However I know there must be companies still out there with amazing customer service so let's talk about them and recognize them!

What made you say this company is so great? Did you have an over and above experience, have you simply heard about them in your community or on the news?
Ecco shoes- expensive but excellent customer service
Mack Weldon (mens clothing)- very responsive customer service!

Trupanion pet insurance. I have been with them for several years and made several large claims. Every claim was reviewed the day I sent it and paid it within two days. I highly recommend them.
I'm glad that Chewy has improved their service. I tried them but after sending me the wrong food twice, I gave up on them. Maybe I'll give them another try.

My local Kroger has been pretty great.

Even today when I was shopping (Wednesdays are their start date for weekly deals) I didn’t realize I missed the computer not catching the B1G1 free pork tenderloin. Quick chat on my app after I got home and realized the error, a credit more than the cost was put on my card.

Last week I asked about a price because I knew the item was placed on the wrong shelf the cashier asked, “what was the price tag on the shelf?” After I told her she said that’s the price you get if they put it in the wrong place.

And 99% of the time I always deal with friendly employees.

I have to add Publix to my list.

We have 5 Publix markets within a short drive -- probably more, depending on which direction we go. We use 3 of them often, 1 occasionally, and another occasionally that is some distance from our house but in an area we frequent. Customer service at all of them -- regardless of location or what we ask of them -- has always been outstanding.

Publix also has a good reputation as a good place to work. My SIL worked for them for a number of years, and my other SIL's brother is a store manager. They also have a very active employment program for hiring people with disabilities. We see one guy with a disability who we've been noticing for about 30 years, who I think is now retired from Publix.
